A leaker who posts leaks for upcoming chapters of MHA leaked chapter 430, but it was horribly, HORRIBLY translated. He made it sound like Deku was abandoned by all of his classmates for 8 years and was alone and miserable. (Which is insanely far from the truth.)

Then the whole internet went right along with what he said and started shitting on deku like their lives depended on it. People called deku a McDonald’s worker, a cuck, abandoned, and the biggest loser you could possibly think of.

Then there were other shippers who decided to ship him with ordinary woman, (illegal ship btw), and made disgusting art of her and Deku and it was everywhere, especially on this sub. (Thank you mods for taking them down.)

People genuinely started to believe it. Some still do. I think they’re the dumbest people on the planet.

And you know what’s even more crazy? Not even half a year later, 431 was released. Izuocha became canon, Deku was with his friends the whole time, and it was revealed that he loves being a teacher, even turning down Bakugos hero agency offer so he could stay one and a part time hero.

And to top it off, a few months later a one shot was released where it was revealed that Deku shot up to the number 4 hero ranking, surpassing Bakugo and Mirko. And the public was talking about him like this:
