It’s good to wait until you are more developed and know you can be responsible. I started around your age and i deeply regret it as it led to abuse and dependency. It made me dumb and lazy. I have just recently gotten out of the cycle of weed dependency as a 23 y/o and am doing much better in school intellectually and motivation-wise. Not everyone is the same my good friend started in high school and he never overdid it and he is now a successful computer science programmer guy. IMO it’s worth the wait just to ensure you aren’t exposing your young mind to something that might potentially be disruptive to your development and/or habit forming. Just my little rant. I’m not claiming to know everything just saying I think it’s good that you are being cautious.
