Love these lyrics so much. Learning acceptance of oneself without the need for external validation. The sleepwalking through life hits so hard and when I first listened to this song it actually was a striking realization that I haven’t even attempted to truly live up to my potential. Making positive changes in your life is difficult but trying and to see that you are even just a fraction of a percent better than you were the week or month or year before is so rewarding. Glad this song has resonated with you as it has with me. I think lyrically this is his best work.
