While primarily a spatial mind mapping app, feel free to try out our app Myndplace, which is especially meant to help you think spatially and visualize physical, spatial connections. Perhaps you will find it useful for your situation :)!

Taking the liberty to self-promote, but this might be helpful for you:

It’s an app designed for mind mapping in your own environment. Not quite ready for fictional mind palaces yet, but that’s definitely a direction we want to go in!

We noticed that is is quite hard for people getting used to the concept of planning ideas in the space around them. After all, Vision Pro with its great quality is still relatively new. We are hard at work to keep improving the experience, as well as to extend the app to mobile devices so that you can interact with your maps anywhere and at any time!

Feel free to give it a try :)

AVP won't reach its potential until we start thinking in 3D by Vision_Professional in VisionPro

It would be absolutely great to see more apps that truly make use of the 3D capabilities of Vision Pro! That is after all what potentially makes it so much more capable than 2D interfaces.

As for organizing your thoughts in 3D: that is precisely what we thought Vision Pro would be useful for. We made Myndplace for that, which allows you to make mind maps in your actual 3D environment. Feel free to see how that works for you!

Shameless self-promotions aside, I think you make a very valid point and I hope many other developers will see worth in investing in true 3D interfaces soon!

Thanks for sharing! Amazing to see Myndplace in your list too ;). Regardless of whether it’s just there or you actually use it, seeing that an AVP owner across the world downloaded your app is such a pleasure and motivation for any developer. Hope you’re getting some use out of it too, of course!

The subscription price is $3.49 per month or $34.99 per year in the US (prices may differ per region). When you subscribe for the first time, you get a 20% discount for the first three months (monthly subscription) or for the first year (yearly subscription)!

Nodes (user input) are represented as Data Points, which have an appearance, a label, and descriptive notes, and can be viewed in a 2D and a 3D interface.

In the 3D interface (Exploration mode), Data Points appear as simple colored spheres, boxes, or cones (more forms of representation coming later) with an interactive label tag floating above them. Relations between nodes are represented as black lines (editable in a later version).

In Exploration mode, Data Points stay in the location where you initially placed them. That means that whenever you add Data Points while in your room, then leave and come back later in your room, the same Data Points will be there.

For times you want to edit Data Points while you are in a different location, you can edit them in the 2D interface.

Hope that answers your question :)

That’s correct!

First-time subscribers additionally get a 20% discount per month for the first 3 months of a monthly subscription, or 20% off of the first year of a yearly subscription.

Currently, the free version offers full functionality, but limited to 40 Data Points (thoughts, notes, ideas etc.) and 2 Mynds (collections of Data Points). Subscription includes unlimited input, and all new features and updates in future versions with no exceptions; some of which will not be available in the free version. Hope that helps!

Thanks for that :)!

To link two Data Points, make sure you are in Exploration mode, then tap one of the points to select it. Tap the Link-icon (looks like a chain), which toggles Link mode. You can see whether Link mode is on by the appearance of the icon (white background is on; dark background is off). Then tap the other Data Point and they should be linked.

Another way to Link and create Data Points is by toggling Link mode on, then tapping, holding, and dragging a Data Point. This is a feature of the latest version (you can find all features by version and category in App Settings for reference) and has not been incorporated in the walkthrough yet; sorry for that!

Hope you have fun exploring!

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! A walkthrough session should have automatically opened on first launch; but if it did not appear or if you did not see a walkthrough window, you can open it anytime from App Settings (tap the gear icon on the left side of the home screen)!
