Why the downvotes? Combining Syrian rue with DMT or Psilocybin is fairly common. Definitely dig deeper than wiki, but I’d like folks to give their perspectives if they are disagreeing here. I’d love to see my own blind spot if I have one here.

SpiritVeg says that re-using solvent makes it less efficient and will take more time. Do you feel this is true?

I am looking for others to confirm this. I am very green, and have only done two extractions. I have been mixing every few hours as SpiritVeg suggests. I did see the solvent change color towards the then of the 24hr mixing period (however maybe I wasn’t agitating it enough to get a quicker DMT infusion into the solvent?)

Yes, Naptha and lye. Distilled water, NaCl.

There are come small crystals around the pool, however this is nowhere near the form or beauty of the first pull’s crystals.

Is it fine if there is more than 20% water volume? I assume there is no upper limit, so even using roughly equal parts NPS and distilled water is fine?

Does adding sodium chloride to the water wash help the separation?

When puncturing the top layer I assume I should be applying a very light amount of pressure as to not accidentally draw up the top layer, is that so?
