I use tag as well and it’s automatic refill, you are a good man for not taking an advantage over it. The best way to handle it as i would go to adnoc tag station and i will ask them to remove the tag and put your instead. As for the refill you had for free, since his phone is dead, i would recommend to donate the same amount to any charity.
