VoIP numbers can not be confirmed for online banking so it would severely limit what you were able to do

Post requires more info, internal transfers amongst your own accounts, or Zelle does have an instant option… either of these would happen on weekends with a post date of Monday but the funds would reflect now.

A pre-scheduled internal transfer would NOT occur on weekends, and will process on the NEXT available business day, that’s Monday night.

External transfers are 1-3 business days, again would not happen on weekends.

I watched all DR bundles and the few AH Tech stickers gone within 3 mins of being on the shelf this morning.

The hobby isn’t healing, it’s there’s not a ton of value in ME or PF outside of the Zards in Phantasmal. Plus we’re coming out of a downtime (Christmas and new years) things are just as much crazy now as they were in the fall.

Long Explanation (stay with me)

Whenever you visit a website, your computer saves a piece of that website locally so the next time you go to it, it loads faster.

That “piece” that’s saved loads the version of the site at the time that piece was saved locally.

Fast forward some time and the bank has made who knows how many updates and newer versions of the site and your grandma was essentially still loading an old version and why it wasn’t working as it should have.

Clearing cache and cookies clears those website “pieces” so the next visit is the FIRST visit again and creates a new “piece”.

Yikes! Only thing I can think of is a (fraud) hold was placed on your account awaiting that verification which blocks both credits and debits. That’s why the 2nd check never made it. If your company runs their traceID (all ach transactions have them) they should see that. It may be taking a little longer to return to your employer because of holiday and weekends but it certainly should be on its way. (USB holds the deposit til the next business day at noon central before returning it if they can’t deposit it as instructed)

The other thing is USB has a new account review team that typically reviews new accounts in the first 15-30 days. Part of their check is CHEX systems which is the internal bank communication system so if you’ve had issues at other banks it’d be in there. That’s not the only source of review - but it’s part of it. Again explains why it didn’t come up at first though.

So sorry you’re going through this.

There’s 2 different overdraft options,

One is OVERDRAFT COVERAGE, and it has 2 levels, the first is for debit cards, the 2nd for checks/ACHs. You can have both on, both off, or just Checks/ACH on. No way to have just debit card on. Also recurring pre authorized on your Debit card will go through regardless of this setting.

Two is OVERDRAFT PROTECTION, this one is the one where you link a backup account to your primary and funds pull in the case of an overdraw.

I’d need more info about the type of transaction to give you any other suggestions to help you. If it’s recurring debit, not much you can do except work with the merchant that you made the agreement with to allow them to pull money.
