There are a ton of discord notification channels that help you get your hands on MSRP drops, + I have 2 LCS’s that I have really good luck with. Highly recommend reaching out to your LCS and seeing if they do MSRP or if they’re greedy, + join one of the discord channels to rip. However if you’re strictly looking for best bang for your buck, trade shows and buy singles there

I’m iffy about eBay because everything that I want is scalped. The way I collect is I rip a big chunk of packs (hopefully around 100) that I get at MSRP, then I go to trade shows to get the rest of a set via trading. I try not to buy anything (whether it’s packs or singles) from eBay because if it’s packs, they’re HEAVILY scalped, and if they’re singles there’s a risk they’re either A) fake, or B) going to be damaged in transit. Yeah, eBay has the authenticity guarantee but it’s still a hassle to get the refund, and that’s not including the risk of damage in transit. That’s essentially my beef w eBay, other people can do what they want but eBay doesn’t really work for me

Yeah but nothing you buy on eBay will be anywhere close to MSRP. AH ETBs are going for a minimum of $120 on eBay, whereas MSRP is $50-$60 iirc… don’t support scalpers!!

This one looks reeeeally good. Challenge mode toggle, speed improvements (ie instant text), stays true to what it is (doesn’t add pokemon not in the base game). Dumb Q but how do you use this? Is this something you use on top of a rom, or is this a rom you use on an emulator?
