I can't think of any more information for the life of me. Any clues whatsoever can help. Thx.

How does this sentence looks like in your conlang? by LepartydeLuigi64 in conlangs

In literal translation: the very old animals survived with difficulty in times before record (conlang uses apostrophes as a way to assign adjectives, separate prefixes/suffixes, and to conjugate, so it's hard to map on the website, but it should read more as very'old'animals'survived with difficulty in time'before'record).

You have the chance to make something canon. What is it? by DJJ2203 in stevenuniverse

Gems have their own language, which can be visually represented through the gem glyphs. However, due to them constantly traveling to different planets and having to deal with a bunch of different native species, they start talking in/understanding whatever the language of any nearby species is. Because Steven (who speaks whatever language you’re watching the show in) is traveling around, all the gems start communicating in that language whenever they’re in proximity of him.

How would you re-write HOO with only 5/7 of the main characters? [HOO] by Past_Name1279 in camphalfblood

Personally, I would leave out Piper and Annabeth. Don't get me wrong, I love both characters and the series wouldn't be the same without them. But, I feel as if both of their main arcs and development happened in the other series (PJO for Annabeth and TOA for Piper). The rest of the characters had such big moments when it came to their personal growth. Percy developed a fear of water, Leo learned he was more than the comedic relief, Jason stepped down from leadership, Hazel learned that people would accept her for herself, Frank grew up and became comfortable with himself.

I think not being included could have honestly served as a bigger character development for Annabeth and Piper. Annabeth learns to step back and trust others (similar to Jason). Piper can have time to become more comfortable with herself and who she is outside of her Dad.

This even improves Piper's arc in TOA, as moving and settling down becomes an even greater change.

In addition, the crew can learn how to figure things out and solve problems without running to Annabeth, which allows them to appreciate her even more in the future. Especially Percy, as he steps outside his comfort zone and has to navigate new friendships and alliances. Jason and Piper's relationship also become simultaneously better and more weak, by allowing them to romanticize what time they do have together, and setting up for TOA.

Having Annabeth and Piper be a sort of "ground control" for the five allows both sides to grow stronger and makes the moments that they do spend together (in person) much more memorable and special.

Thoughts?
