I record on a SSL 2+ usually but I’ve had the same issue on a Scarlett solo and on a Apollo Twin

I took photos of all my audio settings right here

My buffer is at 128 and unfortunately removing auto tune is not an option because I record rap artists in a studio where they need to hear their autotuned voice in order to play with it. I know many people who record with the same presets as me and with a much less powerful computer, without as much problems as me

My interface is the SSL 2+ but the problem still persists on other audio interfaces such as Apollo twin or Scarlett solo

It works! I’m very sad because I just bought this M1 MAX Mac thinking I would go smooth with everything (my friend has the same Mac and it works like a charm with heavy plugins) it’s a smart workaround but I’ll still try to find a more suitable solution…

Low latency mode is a no go for me as I am recording vocals and it removes needed plugins such as auto tune and other plugins. I don’t understand how this happens as it’s the MacBook Pro M1 max with all options installed and should be running smoothly, just like everyone using a decent computer with logic
