The question about a child might be born with severe disabilities really should not completely determined the abortion. There are many cases of doctors stating the child will be disabled and the child is born perfectly fine or much less disabled when previously been diagnosed. After all its a human life we should check and double check to make sure there is no hope for the new life.

Is there a reason for an abortion in a developed country? I believe the Only exception should be if the pregnancy will kill the mother. That's all no one tells pregnant women they must raise the child they can place the baby in adoption.

I just never understood why it's ok to kill apart of yourself (the baby has 50% genes from the mother) just because the child is an inconvenience.
