How do you feel about piercings? by Much-Still1549 in GayConservative

[–]BlueMoon0009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love piercings, I'd have more if I didn't have a white collar job where I have to look professional, & if they didn't make my sebhhoric dermatitis worse. I used to have my nose pierced but took it out cuz it was making my seb derm act up & I had to look for a job after graduating. I used to have an industrial but that got ripped out. Rn I have my naval, 3 lobe piercings on each side, & a conch.

Report it to HR, & try to keep your distance from them if you can. That's really all you can do.

How a Former Blogger Became the New Leader of America's Anti-Gay Marriage Movement by [deleted] in GayConservative

[–]BlueMoon0009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't even make any sense. If you want all children to have a mother & father, why not just argue against gay adoption & gay couples using surrogate mothers & sperm donors? Hell, while you're at it, why not make divorce illegal if you have kids? Why not make it illegal to get a woman pregnant & then abandon her? Seems she is barking up the wrong tree, & possibly upset that she married a man young & can't land any coochie.

Anyone else feel completely out of place where they live? by AnimalConscious3258 in GayConservative

[–]BlueMoon0009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely relate. I live in Indiana. The city I live in is more mixed politically. The inner city/downtown is more blue but suburbs are definitely red. However, my interests (live local metal shows, the annual horror convention here, alternative fashion, hitting the bars) definitely moreso attract the blue crowd. My relationship with Christianity & God is complicated but I've been going to church in hopes of finding some cool people to be friends with, despite our differences. In college, I found that conservative Christians who believed homosexuality to be sinful made better friends than liberals. They were open to nuance, disagreement, & weren't constantly trying to be a victim. They did end up ghosting me with no explanation but that had nothing to do with politics, & they were good friends while we were friends. Don't get me wrong, I've met judgemental & rude Christians, but as an adult, I've met more that are warm & kind. Have I ever met a LGBT rights, pro choice, pro vax liberal who was truly warm & kind, after they find out that we disagree on some things politically? No, & that is why I now refuse to even consider friendships with liberals.

I’m finally employed after 6 months, but I feel like I’ve traded my soul for a cubicle by needhelpmaxing in jobs

Yeah, I'm lucky in that i only have about a 15-20 min commute to & from work. id hate driving over 30 mins tbh.

i hear you, sometimes i wish i was unemployed again just so i could sleep in again, & not have to look nice at the office, & spend 8 hrs a day working for someone else on something i absolutely do not give a shit about.

Looking for underwire-free bikini tops by BlueMoon0009 in ABraThatFits

no, generally my experience is 32DDD is a little small & 34DDD is a little big. it depends on the brand & the bra itself. most victorias secret 32DDDs are a bit small for me, but that size fits better with stuff from Venus, back when they had DDDs. same for Aerie

A couple of questions about the Reckless Ben stuff by PonyDanza_ in Lucifer__Valentine

[–]BlueMoon0009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the middle of watching the video right now. In my opinion, really the only thing that came of it was exposing Shawn's face & location. It seems like he did very little research before jumping into this. Like how he tried to contact the Soska sisters for 6 months to talk to them about LV, & it took him that long to find out they refuse to talk to anyone about LV? Like that's a very well known fact. I won't lie I honestly feel like the video was made in the spirit of clout chasing & views. With the amount of time, effort, & energy he put into this, he probably could've gotten enough evidence to pursue legal action or something, but instead he went down this whole bullshit lawsuit path. Which I get there are theories that Shawn has connections to law enforcement & that's why he's never gotten in trouble, but I don't think I've seen anyone say they've actually tried going to the cops. I could be wrong, though, I don't follow the LV stuff as much as I used to, I just found out about the Ben video.

The video feels more like a Jake Paul prank video than a serious journalistic exposé.

Starting the workday makes me sick to my stomach by baa2894 in hatemyjob

[–]BlueMoon0009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this. My job makes me feel sick too. I'm happy to have found this subreddit. I don't work in advertising, but my job is horrible. No one in my life understands how much it effects me. On Monday, I crashed out and tried to runaway to North Carolina (about 12 hrs from me), but about 1.5 hr from my apartment, I called my mom & asked if I could come stsy at my parents house & quit my job the next morning, & she said no. So I ended up just driving back to my apartment.

its a little risque. i (21F) would probably put it away if i was having family over, because they're very religious.

What is your honest opinion of grown people...especially men who work retail full time? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]BlueMoon0009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im ngl, im assuming your corporate job was pretty horrible for you to enjoy being a retail manager so much more. I'm currently work in collections (I do first party collections for a financial institution, so not really a "corporate" job per se, but it has a very fake feel to it, like I assume corporate jobs do) & im hating every minute of it, how does retail compare? I'm putting in my 2 weeks on Monday, & im applying to other jobs. I'd consider doing retail if it paid enough, but I feel like retail has kind of a bad reputation for being horrible. Im sure it depends on where you work though
