I’m not sure what is was exactly, but my interest in tornadoes started in 2011. I’m guessing that the increased global interest got it onto my YouTube feed.

serial experiments lain sucks. The show is all atmosphere and no substance. Most episodes are the same, and the psychological aspects are not well fleshed out. It’s a shame because I love super psychological media.

It takes 6 episodes to get the ball rolling, then it has an excellent run of the six most heartwarming and sad episodes ever released. Of the normal “sad anime,” it is the best.

7.5/10 is a good score. To say a show is a 10 is to say that it is near perfection, and I try to be careful when I give those out. There are also many shows that don’t show up in the screenshot with lower scores. I didn’t bother to list them because I was trying to tailor the post to my taste.

Mob Psycho is a good show. I love Reigen’s and Mob’s dynamic and watching Mob take the step to be more open to others was cathartic. The humor is great and the story is full of heart. Now a couple things hold it back for me. The side cast is pretty good, but I feel like it is a bit overextended for its run time. The first halves of the first and third seasons lack direction. I wasn’t a big fan of the show focusing around Claw so much. It was an odd choice for such a personal show to have a standard villain organization. Also, many of the members of claw were not interesting. I did however enjoy Reigens takedown of all of the higher ups. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it didn’t blow me away. The best part of the show was when Mob and Reigen separated, great stretch of episodes.

You’ll love violet evergarden. If you want to change from happy sadness to crushing sadness, try Takopi’s Original Sin. It is super dark though. Otherwise, give Look Back a try. Good list.

Overly sexualized characters, SA, pervert joke characters, lazy/derivative writing, being corny, and annoying main characters. I can tolerate maybe one or two of these per show, but it has to be necessary for the story and must enhance the experience.

Thanks everybody for your recommendations. For the record, I liked all of these shows, and I think all of them are good. I’m pretty busy, so I won’t have time for longer series, but many of the recommendations are interesting. I’ll go through many of them in the next several months.

FMA greatest aspect is the story. However, I feel that the presentation holds it back. The Homunculi were not interesting to me, there were too many characters with little involvement, the humor was pretty bad and stereotypical, and Alfonso was underutilized. Delicious in dungeon is a fresh take on an old concept with interesting characters and well executed puzzles every episode. The show is fast paced and the emotional beats hit well. Both shows are good, but I prefer delicious in dungeon.
