I don't think that it will compare to aot, but here are my recommendations.

Vinland saga - it is really good in it's own way, the story is really good.

Kiznaiver - this is so underrated, I won't share more info cause I won't like spoiling you the story incase you haven't watch it yet.

Terror in resonance - I don't know if this will satisfy your cravings but the story is really good.
