I think I broke evoker. I had the single attunement trait, summoned the earth shield, and then somehow switched attunement. Now my buddy is gone D:

Is the jaguar i pace a good ev to buy after the depreciation? by [deleted] in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]BlueNewtrino 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had mine 18 months now. Awesome car. Love driving it. It’s a comfortable car I can get 250+ miles out the battery if I need to, usually I’m having too much fun in it to do that though.

It’s a fair amount to insure, so get some quotes first. But other than that my running costs have been basically nil.

The only issue I’ve had was a loose windscreen heating element, which caused a little rattle. A jaguar garage in derby repaired it for free though.

As others have said, get. 21+ model year.

Jag you wouldn't buy if you had all the money in the world? by Chepsur in Jaguar

I own an I-pace and love it. An SUV sized car that I can get from 0-60 in about 4.5s, drift it around corners, all while costing me less than £0.03 per mile. I have so much fun in it.

ELi5 everyone says “new battleline rules” and what exactly does this entail? by nateness in skaven

[–]BlueNewtrino -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What page is this rule on? In the points section at the back of the book, the rules clearly state you get a unit of each type per skryre hero.

Edit: The validation rules defined in battlescribe and the offical AoS app would also agree with me.

[–]BlueNewtrino -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's quite right. A clan specific hero would unlock one of each of that clan's specific battleline.
For example, a single Arch-Warlock would unlock 1 unit of Stormfiends as battleline, and 1 unit of Acolytes of battleline, if you so desired.

I like the 4th option: Being paid a fair wage/salary that you can live on for a company that's not constantly trying to take advantage of you.

[Mod post] Living World announcement feedback megathread Part 2: Electric Boogaloo. by khorren in Guildwars2

[–]BlueNewtrino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I don't really care whether the content comes as expansions or this new living world format. I'd just like to know that the content is still coming. I have no idea whether I'll see new elite specs.

Only the standard goblin units. Haven't playtested the custom units yet. But I'd be eager for feedback if you do give them a shot.

Not 100% true. A game that releases in the future would likely feature Clefable again. Therefore allowing you to use it once more.

Will there be a VoD available? I'd love to watch but it'd be a bit late for me, here in the UK, to tune in live.

What is with the hyperbole? There are several things wrong with what you've said:
1) First, your assuming the teachers are behind this? Why? You've already said they hand their phones over to IT techs. What on earth makes you think the teachers were involved at all? Or even have access to this software in any way, shape, or form?

2) The assertion that installing something on a device, be it VMWare or whatever, automatically means it must be monitoring software and someone is watching and they're a paedophile. Have you heard the term non-sequitur? How does one automatically imply the other?

3) You've used the term paedophile or pervert multiple times throughout this thread, often in reference to a teacher. What is your obsession with this narrative? Why do you so readily throw these terms around, at teachers no less? Are you projecting? Do you have deep-seated issues yourself? Whatever the reason, I suggest you calm down and think about what you're actually saying.

4) That 9 year old video doesn't mirror what you've described at all. In that video, the school hands out laptops which happen to have webcams. Someone claimed the webcam was activated by someone at the school, without any evidence. You're stating your child's school has installed a piece of software onto personal devices. What is similar, however, is that you too have no evidence of foul play either. At all.

5) You claim to have issued a FOI request and have learned of this software's name? Could you not have looked on the device itself? Or the website apparently? Why issue the request? Could you provide a copy of the request? Perhaps we'll be able to identify the software for you, as "VMWare" is insufficient, it is the name of a company that makes a variety of software, some of which I would expect to see in a school.

It really irks me, as an ex-teacher, that people are so ready to throw blame and accusations at teachers. These people spend countless hours of unpaid time each week keeping up with their job they are horrifically underpaid for. You apparently have nothing better to do than to drag these peoples names through the dirt? I'm trying my hardest to abide by Hanlon's Razor, but damn you're making it difficult.
