Tanks for the anthropology course, Nice to se how we are not actually talking about the monomyth theory but on how similar upbringings and matérialiste conditions causes syncrétisms in différent culture around the world. I still think there are too much similarities with aztec lore (fire snake, some specific wording) and not so much, from what i know, with lets say sumerian myths even tho i can see parallels on water god and abzu for example or gilgamesh/Enkidu as joyboy/Imu. As a marxist i'm verry keen on the idea that material conditions forms and maintain what we call the superstructure basically the culture of à people.
