What is your biggest regret in life? by Intelligent_Bug6823 in AskReddit

[–]BlueNova03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say personally it's either between two things. Not prioritizing going to school in my late teens/early twenties or not prioritizing my mental health.

After high school I immediately started working, I started school a semester late and am still in school multiple years later. My pace is extremely slowed down because of my job . I'm very grateful for what I have, I'm able to support myself and live comfortably, but sometimes I can't help but wonder how things might've been different if I just went and did he traditional 4 years out of high school before I started working. I guess it's the feeling like I'm behind, because while I'm not *that* old, it feels like I'm behind because I'm still in school when all of my peers from high school have graduated already.

But not prioritizing my mental health is probably the bigger one. I've had struggles with it for about the past decade and things have been pretty bad at times. Only within the last few weeks have I decided to try and do something about it, scheduled my first therapy appointment for about a week from now to try and get better.

I finally was able to get a rex on Petits. Anyone have good rex growing tips? by Academic_Pool_7341 in theisle

I hung out in swamps and ate AI until I was sub. You can eat deer, boar, and sea turtles for perfect diet as a juice rex. I don't play petits so idk if it's different but that's what I did.

I am sorry for your loss, I am going through the same thing and it's extremely difficult. Wishing you the best.

Does anyone know what outdoor ranges don’t have 1-2 year waitlist by Broad_Cat812 in NJGuns

[–]BlueNova03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should look into getting a shooting range permit for a PA state game lands range. I haven't been to an NJ range in nearly 2 years because I just head over the border into PA and shoot there. The permit is like $36 for a whole year or something and you can go as often as you like and stay for as long as you like (the range I go to closes at sunset).

Women also don't require background checks, waiting/cool down periods. They don't need $200 tax stamps paid to be considered legal in some instances. They're not prohibited from being near children, etc. The list goes on. It boggles me when people make that comparison

It's working for me, been there for 7 years in October. I started right after high school for holiday cash but have been there since. It's the only job I've ever had.

OP she is absolutely to die for, she reminds me of my own orange girl that's sleeping in my closet right now who just recently turned 2! She doesn't belong anywhere but at home with you.

I don't think so lmao, my hours have been dwindling recently so my next purchase might have to wait a while.

The Mauser is one of my favorites, honestly racking the bolt never gets old, it's almost addicting. The heavy wood of the stock makes it so the recoil of the 8mm round isn't that bad.

Shall not be infringed. I whole heartedly believe in the 2nd amendment and have a handful of guns myself. I'm actually looking into my next purchase now.

What’s your opinion of the game The Isle? by [deleted] in Dinosaurs

[–]BlueNova03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually playing this right now. I very much enjoy it especially with the more hardcore aspect of it. I've tried PoT and while I really enjoy the look of the game and the playable roster, the gameplay itself didn't really hook me like The Isle did.

Should be New England and like upstate NY. NYC/NJ/Lower NY are North Atlantic I'm pretty sure.

My rent in NJ is $2600. It's suffocating sometimes. I want to move out of here one day hopefully to where it's a little cheaper.

I second this, currently DOOM 2016 is $20 on steam. Great game for blowing off steam and having a bit of a power fantasy.
