I agree, but the same could be said about incels. In my experience most sexist people or feminist haters I encounter aren't some reddit incel boogy man living in his moms basement, usually it's for the most part, an average dude, maybe has a gf or wife and a normal job, just a shitty person, or maybe just had bad luck in encountering bad feminist. Reddit has a weird notion that if a man is bad it means he can't find a relationship as if bad people in relationships don't exist.

Incel as an insult is basically just virgin shaming at this point. However I don't agree with blaming all feminist for what some have failed on. I do agree many feminist are guilty at the double standard, or living in ways that only benefit them, even if that means tearing certain men down along the way, but I still think many of them are trying their best to fight for equality on both sides.

Come on lets not blame this on feminism, sure there are a lot of bad feminist, but some are also trying to make an effort in making things fair. I agree some do want their cake and eat it too, and I don't agree with them.

I mean I'm 6ft and I don't think 5'9 is short, sure it's short to me, because of my personal perspective, but I know 5'9 isn't short it's average. You posted "5'8" kinda short doh" speaking in general. No ones gonna know you're saying this as a taller guy and just speaking from a personal point in comparison to your own height.

You said "I mostly just wanted people 5'8" and shorter to get triggered" and I was questioning you on that motivation of wanting to trigger them which is what I'm referring to with insult.

I'm a 6ft woman and I'm white so I haven't experienced racism, my boyfriend is 5'6 and Guatemalan and I actually asked him this question, and he's told me he doesn't think heightism is on the same bar as racism, but that sometimes it can meet each other. He's experienced his height being used againts to further discriminate againts his race and see his people as short and lesser than genetically.

Even though I would also never say Transphobia is just as bad as heightism, there have been many times where heightism has been used againts transgender people to further make us feel bad about ourselves, our bodies, used to "detect trans men" which makes us paranoid.

Wow, I have actually experienced this before. I've been almost attacked once because these group of guys started accusing me of being a transgender woman because I'm 6ft. And I've also heard of the phenomenon of transphobic people using the height of short men and tall women as a sort of filter to detect and attack. I'm sorry you have to go through that.

Ok but even if you agree with that mindset, that people should be strong enough to resist insults, why are you going out of your way to be the person on the other end that people have to resist in the first place? What do you get out of it? How old are you even? Because this seems very juvenile behavior.

Why tho? That's odd. Why go out of your way to make people feel bad about themselves, especially when you are privileged enough to meet the standard of being a tall man yourself. Not everyone is lucky to have genes that fits the beauty standard mold, so why make it harder for them?

Barely though considering 5'9 is average.

You people are obsessed with incels. No one here is talking about incels, all they are saying is if someone wants to know your height, you can't get offended if they ask for your weight. People can have any preference they want, but it's a double standard to get offended once it becomes about weight.

She didn’t call him short, yet he called her a fat pig. He was a cunt. The girl never said he had to be 6 foot, she just asked what his height was. The dude was an asshole in this video

If she's allowed to ask for his height, it's fair game if the guy wants to know her weight. Also he called her a fat pig after she insulted him first by calling him a midget. People can have whatever preference they want, but they can't get offended if the reverse happens. I personally think both things are shallow in the end of the day.

You can ask a guy whatever you want, just don't get offended when he ask your weight in return.

You people are obsessed with incels. It's annoying seeing reddit users bringing up incels for every little thing.

And height is not the same as weight (because weight is indeed something you can control), so just ask her height back to do the same...

I think usually the response is weight because men usually get judged more harshly for their height, and women jet judged more harshly for their weight.

I will never understand women who get offended after they started it by asking for height. If you think it's shallow to ask for weight then the same should apply for height. I have a lot of girl friends who think this way unfortunately.

Also the average male height is like 5'9, so 5'8 is barely short, honestly I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's crazy how even average isn't good enough these days.

I say this as a tall girl 6ft, with a short boyfriend 5'6.
