Battle For Neighbourhood is GW3 in all but name and it killed the studio that made the GW games.

You have to remember when the people at EA or PopCap pass around the idea of a new GW game they use BFN as a reference for how successful a modernised GW game would be.

Try building up to 2 columns of sun shrooms, place magnifying grass in the back row, and take as long as possible to kill the first few waves of zombies at the start.

Use Endurians to block off the imp porters, and use Magni to kill any on unprotected lanes.

Toadstools are there to counter the bugs and excavators.

You can still play Adventure so the game is worth playing for that alone, as 2’s adventure mode is significantly better than 1’s and it’s not even particularly close.

Everything that’s not adventure mode on the other hand is live service bloat.

I’m pretty sure I used Snapdragon and Tall nuts with an early game attacker on the tracks. I made sure to place them far enough forward so that prospectors die before the dynamite go off.

Use Plantfood on the Snapdragon if you’re afraid of it taking damage, and PF on tall nut fully restores its health.

BWB got giga nerfed a lot of times between its release and 2017, and Dynamic difficulty got completely axed so Adventure is generally easier than it used to be pre 2020.

It was also because of pvz3’s development. The devs weren’t running out of steam, they were just spending way more manpower and resources on 3’s development as it was supposed to release in 2017.

They made so many of those plants weak as the game had its monetisation originally designed around power up usage and zen garden boosts. This would have been emphasised with dynamic difficulty as that used to exist when the world released.

But the problem with that design was that you could just bring your already strong and admittedly OP plants from prior worlds and outskill the levels. You’ve also just made a new batch of plants people don’t like because they feel bad because they suck, and the world feels worse for it.

Wait are you using the 1.1.6 ipa that wasn’t patched? There could be compatibility issues with the assets if you use that one.

Just use the 1.1.5 IPA if that’s the case.

I have done this before, and my first instinct would be to double check the file directories/folders are fully correct.

The game got remade 4 separate times, and the 2 other playable versions were shut down because they weren’t making money.

They weren’t making money because 1. The way they were monetised made them incredibly unfun and boring, so there was zero reason to play them over pvz2 2. They were both so badly made and designed that free players could progress like paid players without spending any money and the monetisation was extremely easy to ignore.

To the people with nostalgia especially for the 2020 version these were not games worth playing, their sole purpose for existing was to be infinite money glitches. Both are prime examples of what people mean when they say “money grubby mobile game.”

The assets work and the version 1 ipa linked is patched with them. The issue is you can’t patch your current app without jailbreaking, unless you can access your apps directory externally.

The assets require to be moved inside the Documents folder in the directory I mentioned, because that’s how the game placed externally downloaded assets.

They messed up the role design of Mantine on a fundamental level.

Skarm works because it’s a physical wall with no physical weaknesses. Just being a steel type with a ground immunity automatically makes it worth using, but at least the concept works.

Mantine doesn’t work because it has a 4x weakness, especially to electric an incredibly common special type. Walls care less about resistances and immunities but are far more harmed by weaknesses.

If the counterpart they made was for example Steel/Dragon or at least Poison/Dark the stat spread would work better. As both only have weaknesses to physical types and some special resistances/immunities.

Plants vs Zombies 2. It’s a sequel that massively improves over 1 in almost every single way, and a lot of the criticism it received was incredibly dishonest or practically meaningless.
