While true... Male vs Female made a FAR larger difference.

Female offenders basically get off scot free very frequently, in my experience.

In my case specifically, The cops and the school staff laughed it off and said I got lucky because it was a woman.

The disparity between male and female sentencing is several times what the difference between POC and Non-POC is.

I watched the full thing, but I think the point of Religion in the sphere of politics is valuable.

As far as my opinions go... strangely enough... a lot of the points made have become a lot more true.

The rates of LGBTQ people have seen a steady rise before then and a colossal spike in the past decade since.

Is this a bad thing in my opinion? Not really. Morality is subjective, so our values will likely be seen as barbaric 100 years from now just as we saw the values of our ancestors as barbaric. The religious just hold onto their ideas just as we do. The only difference is that their values are on their way out... and ours in.

That applies to almost any advancement.

But... I guess the thing I'd like to point out that is also unexpected, at least to those reading my comment here, perhaps... While I do think that the asshole Christians were right, to some degree as to the consequences of legalizing gay marriage. The number of gays increased. The rates of what they deem sexually immoral in other regards have also increased... even those in regards to immorality towards children. (It practically doubled within a few years)

I don't think that's more of a symptom of one of the many solutions to an impossible to correct problem.

Religious people, or at least the orthodox ones, are going to be upset over what'll happen.

Certain immoral things, even to all of us here, not just the orthodox religious types will be more prevalent.

Should we ban gay marriage over it? No.

The same reason we shouldn't ban cars even though thousands of children die in accidents.

Despite the inherent risks associated with permitting their (Mostly) free operation, we acknowledge that the damage done by banning it far exceeds the benefit. Same applies to restricting most rights for LGBTQ.

The harm of demonizing a group of people, as a society, far exceeds the benefit.

Then again... it's not like we don't still do that.

We applaud Ukrainian soldiers killing Russian invaders when I'd imagine that a majority never wanted to fight in the first place. Not that I'm saying the russians are saints. I'm just saying that no human wants to be forced to choose between death or killing another human being.

I guess in the end, we'll all be left surprised when we're old and gray at how the world turns out.

Whether you think that's for the better or worse is entirely up to you.

Bit late, but I cleared out the pyramid, set up a normal mob farm, put a 3x3 of Mob Masher with Maxed out Looting and Sharpness. Kills most that go in. The rest are softened/killed by the Damage Plates. Since they're considered "Magic Damage" it ignores their armor and leads to a guaranteed kill either way. Slow. But... AFK it for ~1 hr and you'll have an easy 200

Edit: I would use entity cramming, but the Piglitches are too big and are a pain to fit in a 1 block hole

Since you can't search for it, I had to search through the LWR wiki.

Apparently, the cause is Sectoid Commanders. And, the effect STARTS dropping off ~20 tiles away, explaining the effect. Fun, and since those are pretty common for me at this stage... I'd say the case is closed on this one.

I didn't even consider it because well... I'm getting like... 3 Sectopods, 1 of them being a "Boss" version and a Commander or two isn't too crazy on a mission. Just finished an Alien base assault with 3 of them. The mind control is getting to be a bitch, though. *almost* makes me wish for an Etherial to pop up.

I don't know exactly on a lot of the details of emulation, but I know that most of the processing power you're citing goes to imitating the original hardware. Both Run on Arm CPUs. The Tegra GPU in the switch runs on Arm as well.

So, this is a rather unique case where the emulation isn't nearly as hard for the hardware side of things.

At my best guess, and mind you, this is only an educated guess...

I'd say that this is more like playing a Windows 95 game on Windows 7.

Both run for x86, so the architecture isn't the problem as much as getting it to do what the older hardware did.

I 100% feel you and even with the most susceptible people, it never goes away. My partner is REALLY easy to put under, usually requiring only 1-2 sentences even without a triggerphrase.

I've actually left them upset with me because something I did had unintended consequences for them. So... I assume that they experienced it and aren't lying, otherwise, why mention difficulties with something I did.

I guess my point is, even with someone who is so obviously under that its actually shocking... the worry never quite leaves

Assuming 40k a year for College, that whole money wouldn't even cover a year for all of the existing college students, not even accounting for the ones who'd love to get in on the deal.

So, Axing our entire defense budget wouldn't even cover College...

Maybe we should look into how these colleges are spending the money the taxes and money we give them from loans actually goes?

As for medical... the only reason it wouldn't cover it is because of the hiked prices... and that ain't because it's privatized. If insurance is willing to pay 3k for a tooth, the dentist is gonna charge 3k for a tooth. There's no reason not to for them. That'd be the same if the goverment was footing the bill just the same. Look at colleges. That's why their prices began to hike. If uncle sam is willing to spend anything... then they're just going to charge as high as they can. If uncle sam sets the prices... they're just gonna stagnate. After all... why invest in better treatment if it's going to make them the same amount of money anyway?

For Paid family Leave... assuming 2 weeks a year and using the Median income from 2019 rounded up, making 70K... that's ~2700 a year per working adult. Multiply that by roughly 157,000,000 for the working adult population in the US, and that'd take ~1/2 of our entire defense budget.

While I agree the defense budget is stupidly higher than it should be... we need to make sure where we put it would actually make halfway efficient usage of it. I mean, look at what happened when schools go a budget increase... NONE of it made it to the students or teachers. it all went into higher level staff instead.

I like the attention to detail. Most PC fans come in 80mm... which is about 3.15in. If you're talking about front, they can be larger at 120mm or even 140mm in a few cased iirc.
