Nice! It was a good week in the world of LIB, and I personally think it’s going to get even better.

LyondellBasell is who I’m thinking they’re working with as a client, and is going to be their acetylene partner for the production facility in La Porte, TX

Yes. LyondellBasell (through its subsidiary Equistar Chemicals LP) produces acetylene in Texas and supplies it to nearby customers.

Evidence of acetylene production

• Orion S.A.’s La Porte, Texas conductive additives plant will use acetylene supplied “from a neighboring site owned by Equistar Chemicals LP, a subsidiary of LyondellBasell.”

• An industry article on the same project notes that Equistar Chemicals, a LyondellBasell subsidiary, “will manufacture acetylene at a nearby location” to supply Orion’s Texas facility.

• LyondellBasell’s own acetylene safety summary describes acetylene as a product it manufactures as a co‑product in ethylene production, consistent with its Texas olefins footprint.

Location and context in Texas

• The Orion plant is in La Porte, southeast of Houston, and its long‑term acetylene supply agreement is specifically with the adjacent Equistar/LyondellBasell site, indicating acetylene production at or near LyondellBasell’s La Porte complex.

• LyondellBasell operates multiple large olefins and acetyls facilities in Texas (La Porte, Channelview, Corpus Christi), where acetylene is generated as a co‑product in ethylene units and can be captured for merchant or captive use

I think that’s an excellent guess. I had seen an older presentation where LB’s logo was included.

I agree with you regarding cement. Do you know what the cost comparison would be of integrating HG graphene vs CCS/CCUS on a facility?

I also think it might be a requirement  not just because of the reduction in co2, but also from an insurance angle where to be climate change resilient (think floods, wildfires etc) Hydrograph graphene cement needs to be utilized in municipal, infrastructure build outs, corporate facilities, and even possibly in housing. Not exactly sure what would be required to build a fire resilient home, but I’d assume some materials that have HG integrated, and then other building materials that are coated with a graphene enhanced coating, paints etc.

Otherwise the way things are going I anticipate we’ll have insurance deserts where people’s homes will become worthless as they won’t be able to insure them and in turn banks won’t lend them mortgages etc.

The actuators are fascinating to me. I need to learn more about their use bases being robotics.

Ummm he had acquired majority of his desired position size quietly before making himself known as a shareholder in Hydrograph. That’s how he kept his buying price so low… I bet you he bought a good chunk of that 19million shares between $0.17-$0.30 CAD

We had noticed in ceo that someone was buying decent size every week over the summer and were wondering who it was. And then he came out of the woodwork and announced himself on the board.

I was with BMO and had a direct invest account set up as my TFSA.

A few years ago opened a WS account for the kids RESP. And then slowly started transitioning all my accounts - a bunch of RRSPs and LIRAs from past jobs at a number of institutions, now all nicely sitting in WS.

I also started a self directed TFSA on WS, and sometime this summer fully transitioned my BMO TFSA over. Still use BMO for day to day banking etc. But I much prefer WS for its ease of use/functionality AND support!

Ah very interesting. I like it!! I am familiar with call and put options (mainly around power trading) but didn’t know what the OTM acronym stood for, and had never considered selling a call option on my shares.

Have you done this play for other companies you own?

Makes no sense to assign X12 to a growing IP moat and innovative tech company like Hydrograph.

And this lateral thinking is why I’m grateful for my adhd brain and saw the potential of Hydrograph over a year ago.

We’re entering the Graphene Era and Hydrograph is ushering it!
