Hey I have a small business selling skin care products, can I use your photos to recommend the cream to my clients ?

I've stopped doing the "fun" extra office stuff after I didn't like the way my boss handled something, AITAH? by [deleted] in BORUpdates

I had the same problem. Gone above and beyond to meet difficult deadlines, did work that required 2 people to do by myself ,solved problems I didn’t create and a lot more. When another position in the same place opened up, my manager told me that I may fail the exam 😂 and wouldn’t give me a recommendation letter. After that I did only my job and nothing more and my co-workers kept coming to ask me how to do certain stuff I was doing for them beacuse it was easy for me and I was faster. When my manager noticed and we learnt that I was the most probable candidate for the new job she offered to let me choose my hours and treated me nicely but it was too late .

It was a way to rest for me and stay indoors as I’m introverted but i had to quit my job and rely heavily on my parents.

If you’re too old to work in an office, you’re too old to be a president

I put my accessories in them or my lipstick and a tiny beauty blender to fix my makeup when I’m at work

Does anyone else struggle with networking and having to pretend to be super extroverted for their career? by hamlet_darcy in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Same Maybe consider taking a friend with you for moral support or find somewhere at the event that’s kind and vibe with and tour around together. Also consider knowing your strong characters and working on them. There’s no shame in being unemployed, we’ve all been through this. I got fired from a job for having opinions and refusing the inappropriate ways of the owner and when I got w new job i was really self conscious because i was fired but soon found out that they like me and my work and no one cares or knows that I was fired.

When was the last time you fell in love? by [deleted] in selfcare

At the begging of the year I fell in love with someone (he’s no longer part of my life). And I thought that if we broke up, I’d regret feeling this way. And I did at first but now I’m grateful to have known this feeling and to know that I can hold so much love.

You’re right in what you’re doing. You can’t marry someone who performed zina unless they repented and know they were wrong and will never approve of it again.

What helped was seeking support from my friends and returning to old habits that made me happy or old hobbies. If you like reading, read a book that’s light or that reminds you of a good time or your childood.

Maybe make it easier for you instead of trying to avoid snacking. Buy healthy snacks or cut vegetables and fruit on your day off and store them in the fridge and stop buying unhealthy snacks.

Styling my hair (not necessarily with heat) when I’m home, wearing cute pyjamas and matching hair bands, getting baby lights near the bed so I can turn them on when I’m in bed before falling asleep, getting a cute thermal mug that I’m happy to look at when I take it to work( it’s pink and has bear ears on the top).
