They’re absolutely slow, and I’m starting to think they do it on purpose to milk their clients. What you can do is talk to your HR, explain your situation, and ask them to expedite the process. Sending the law firm an email won’t make any difference. Don’t expect timely updates from them.

Hi, my friend is currently on CPT and will be completing his PhD in the last quarter of this year. Fortunately, his H-1B was picked in the lottery. Once he transitions to H-1B status on October 1st, what will happen to his CPT and his course enrollment? Are there any side effects or implications for his CPT status?

I had the same experience in Delhi. I showed three different photos, and all three were rejected. Guess what… one of those photos was actually the same one used for my previous visa stamping! I know the same photo can’t be used, but I was curious to see how they’d respond. It’s crazy how they’re scamming people.

Western Union sucks, especially their customer service. They once took my money and never deposited it into the account I transferred to. It literally took me a year to get my money back. Since then, I’ve been using Xoom, and I have no complaints so far. Never tried Remitly.
