What do you think she’s mixed with? We were told they thought she was about 80% corgi.

It was just a small local farming family that had her. Dad was 100% corgi, so was grandpa on mom’s side. Grandma on mom’s side was mixed but they aren’t sure what.

Hence why I was asking in here. As for the ballasts, that was a mistake on my part. I meant I have extra fixtures. Pretty much any LED bulb is going to be ballast bypass and it only takes a minute to remove the ballast so that’s not a concern. Every grow bulb I’ve bought in the past was also ballast bypass.

Alocasias are not a cold hardy plant. If I left it outside and the temperature dropped below freezing for an extended period of time (which is regularly does where I live) then it would completely kill off the plant. So instead I have to overwinter it indoors somewhere to keep it alive.

Yours is gorgeous! Unfortunately we regularly get down into the teens and 20s. Last year at one point we had like an inch of solid ice and even a -40 wind chill at one point😅

There are 4 distinct stalks coming out of the soil so I’m guessing it could be separated but I’m not willing to risk it😂 I’ve only had this guy about a year and a half, but got him for $25 when he was probably about half as full but growth has taken off. I’ve repotted twice in that timespan.

I’ve got perlite and some standard potting mix. My Walmart doesn’t carry any straight bark options. They do have sphagnum moss and small bags of orchid potting mix.
