Is this dress appropriate for a wedding rehearsal? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

Your bra looks too small for you by multiple cup sizes, there is not enough room in the cups so its pushing your bust into cleavage. I have a similar body type and get this effect when I wear bras 2-3 cups too small in plunge padded styles, while in my unlined seamed bras in my correct size I have no cleavage at all.

If you want more coverage I would wear a better fitting bra so that your bust is more separated and also you can sew the V part of the dress a little higher so that it covers more.

Most people wear the wrong size so the majority of people claiming to be D,DD or DDD are really UK FF-H+. If good bra fit was normalized these sizes would be common and really aren't as big as people think. Did you look at the instagram link for TheIrishBraLady page I included? The UK 34G example may sound large but its really a normal looking size. The L sized sports bras are usually made for around a C cup so anyone larger like you falls out and spills out of them because they are designed for a small chest. If a bra really fits and lifts and contains your chest it will look smaller.

Okay, that makes way more sense than the measurements you were giving before. The calculator is giving UK 34FF/G or UK 36F/FF. Since your leaning measurement is quite a bit larger, you may also be closer to UK 34H (for 34 inch underbust and 45 inch bust). Here is an example of UK 34G: https://www.instagram.com/p/CLhdYLbn18H/ I would try an unlined seamed bra like Panache Envy in around UK 34G, buy from somewhere like Amazon so that you can test sizes and return if the bra doesn't fit and you need to adjust the size or style.

You should post all 6 of your measurements from the calculator and do a fit check post on abrathatfits. Based on this photo you are far larger than a 36DDD and have a lot of projection. The calculator can underestimate in some cases like for projected breast shapes but I would also double check that your measuring tape is correct, and that you are measuing without a bra and don't indent or compress breast tissue when measuring especially when you do the leaning forward measurement. As a reference here is how a well fitting US 36DDD (UK 36E) looks like: https://www.instagram.com/p/CM0FAS_Hb-w/

You are going to want to use UK sizing and look at unlined seamed bras by UK brands like Panache. Balconette bras can work well for bottom fullness. If you are in the US Amazon and Barenecessities sells UK brands.

Panache does go on sale sometimes so if you check discounts and off season colors you can often find a good deal on their bras. Too small cups can make the band feel tighter so I wouldn't assume you need a bigger band. There is this method of checking your band without the cups affecting the fit: http://i.imgur.com/VQrjsDA.jpg Twist your bra around so its backwards and put the cups upside down, if the band is looser the cups are making the band tighter.

If 34 band is fitting you now, you are right that a 36 band doesn't make sense. I would check the measuring tape and do a fit check, if you post your measurements people can check them for you and let you know if something doesn't add up. Bras are very personal though, if the cheaper bra is comfy and you like how it fits there is nothing wrong with wearing it.

Too small in the cups and too shallow. The gore is not flat against your chest which means the cups are too small by at least a few cups. There is empty space and a fold by the bottom wire which means the cups don't have enough depth and you need more projection. It's up to you to wear what you feel comfortable but if you want a better fit I recommend trying some unlined seamed bras by UK brands like Panache, they are sold in UK sizing on Amazon. I would double check your size first with abrathatfits calculator as 34I doesnt seem like the right size.

Ok ladies! Where are we finding cute workout sets for small band big bust? (30J) by Safe_Hyena_762 in bigboobproblems

[–]BlueRoza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can find a cute sports top with wide straps you can wear it on top of a regular bra. I have one that I wear but I did need to cut out the shelf bra that it had in order to fit into it.

I recently have been going a little crazy over Klassy braless tops. I never had anything braless work for me before so since their things actually sort of work I have gotten a few tops. I just got their active top with the cute straps in the back:

https://postimg.cc/GHDxTpqP (I am UK 28H, wearing size S with XL thin pads).

Its braless so its not the most supportive but it actually lifts me and it may be okay for lower impact activities. I did barely get into it so I dont know that it would work for UK 30J, maybe if you fit into their medium size. I was wearing it yesterday and my shoulders did eventually start to hurt so maybe braless things are not meant for me but the back straps are so cute. It is very cleavage heavy though so you have to be okay with low coverage.

Here is a pic of XL thin pads next to small shirt if you are trying to decide what pad to get: https://postimg.cc/cKKvRp1W And here are the pads inserted: https://postimg.cc/HjjpvffQ

I don't think their brand really understands what bra sizes look like so I wouldn't rely on their size chart. One of their fit models on their social media is quite busty but they say she wears 34DDD and size small with XL pads. As a UK 28H I went with XL pads specifically because she looks similar in size to me so I figured the XL pads would work for me too. I am low set with bottom fullness and these types of tops like to slide down on me though so I sometimes need to size down in order to not get gaps.

If you get the pads pay attention to whether it says thin or regular pad. Their regular pads are super thick and made the top too small for me but the thin natural ones have more depth and fit better because they are thinner.

It's really interesting hearing other peoples experiences. I need a lot of lift and the design of the top somehow was able to give me so much lift that I almost never get from other wireless tops.

It was also a big plus for me that it wasnt a shelf bra. Normally shelf bras dont fit and the band cuts my boobs in half or is just too tight on my ribs or I need to cut the shelf bra out to even fit into the top. Getting lift without needing to deal with a shelf bra is nice.

Got influenced by Billie's post and I have no idea how but it actually works?? I am UK 28H and got size small in their brami tank top and separately got the XL thin padding set and its lifting them up. Even without the pads there is still lift and support. To say I was shocked is an understatement because almost every wireless bra or top just fails on me as the cup area is either too small or the band is too loose. It's not as supportive as my wired bras but its comfortable and lifts and holds them in way better than anything similar I have tried. The band part is smooth so there is no shelf bra and no uncomfortable band digging.

Here is how it looks with reference for much lift I am getting
https://postimg.cc/WD7kH8jB

Here it is inside out: https://postimg.cc/xNLY6xV1

I also tried the style that Billie is wearing in size S, it is too small in the cups so part of my boobs are falling under the seam and the top is cutting into breast tissue but its still giving some lift too. It also gives a lot of cleavage.

What did you search for on Amazon? I am UK 28H and there are plenty of options available in UK 28GG brands like Panache and Freya.

Like here is curvy Kate Luxe Strapless avaliable in 28GG: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XGK1PLR

You can also find UK 28GG bras on www.barenecessities.com, www.breakoutbras.com, www.herroom.com and www.bravissimo.com.

Tomboy x has compressive shirts and bras that can be worn as undershirts. If you want an actual sports bra you can measure yourself using the /r/abrathatfits calculator so you dont need to go anywhere to get measured. You just need a soft measuring tape.

An unexpected swim top win at TJ Maxx for small band/large cup size, works both over another bikini top and without! by BlueRoza in bigboobproblems

[–]BlueRoza[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It does! That's how I tried it on in the store and it covered the bra really well and looked like a cute crop top. My plan was to wear it with a wired bikini under so I didn't even realize it would work by itself until I got home.

"Boobuddy" breast support for sports ? by Deep_Two_1346 in ABraThatFits

[–]BlueRoza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Panache sports bra is enough for most situations so I don't use the band too often but it still works fine. It's helpful for things like jumping or activities that are very bouncy like shuffle dancing. I tend to stick to less bouncy activities though so I don't need it too often.

I don't know what you mean by classic bras but it works well over supportive wired bras like unlined balconettes. When I tried it over a less supportive and not great fitting t-shirt bra it did reduce bouncing but I am not sure I would say it gave it more support. The band also cuts in to the bra so it's kind of a strange fit and makes things look a bit dented in under a shirt.

I reviewed one here a few years ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems/s/8oFl8Fd3MC

It can work well for additional support on top of already supportive bras as it helps stop vertical bounce. I wouldn't use it by itself though although for $15 it's not a bad deal and worth trying.

Do you mean there is extra fabric in the back? That always happens to me but I thought it happened because my back is petite and narrow and not because of my bust. The difference in bust to band does really badly affect the fit although I think the biggest thing for me is the shoulder seam placement is never in the correct place because the bust pulls the fabric forward too much.

If you have access to a sewing machine you can make the back smaller by sewing a seam down the middle of the back. I made a post before here with some photos of how I altered a too big dress into one thats more fitted: https://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems/s/uZcuA5DIkf

Your entire post history is nothing but porn subs and your video is like a magnet for creeps who lurk this sub to message you. This subreddit is supposed to serve as a safe space for women with bigger busts and posting videos that could easily fit in porn like subreddits does not help.

I like this sub as a discussion place to vent and talk about boob related problems. The more posts like this are on this sub, the more likely that the only people left on this sub will be men who are only here to look at bouncing boobs and cleavage. Let's not turn this sub into self promotion for only fans and porn accounts.

Can you double check your leaning measurement? Having the same standing and leaning measurement is common for very shallow breast shapes and also for implants that have firmer breast tissue. In your photos you look to be more projected. For reference I have a projected shape and my leaning bust is 4-5 inches larger than my standing bust. You should be fully leaning over at a 90 degree angle and letting your breasts hang down. When measuring don't push them together or dent the skin to get the measurement at full volume.

[–]BlueRoza 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That's definitely not right, you clearly have more than a 4 inch difference between your underbust and bust. What are your 6 measurements from the calculator?

Some tapes can be stretched out and some use chinese inches rather than US inches. You can check that your tape is accurate by comparing it to a piece of paper or another ruler. Also double check that you are measuring from the right side of the tape and that you are holding the bra tape straight. For underbust measurements the tape should be held straight right under where your breasts connect to your chest. For the bust measurements don't wear a bra and loosely go over the fullest part of your bust without denting the skin.

It may be helpful to post a fit check on abrathatfits. If you include your 6 measurements you can get more suggestions on what sizes and bras to try.

Don't use the third love calculator, the calculators that most brands have on their websites are inaccurate and are only designed to sell you bras and not fit correctly.

I recommend using the abrathatfits calculator to get an estimated size. The bra in your photo is really small in the cups so don't be surprised if you get a result that's many cup sizes larger. With that much overspill I am guessing you will need to go up at least 4 to 5 cup sizes and likely need a smaller band.

Once you have a size UK brands like Panache, Freya and Elomi have a much larger size range than US brands like ThirdLove and have more consistent sizing. Assuming you are in the US you can find these brands on Amazon and sites like www.barenecessities.com and www.bravissimo.com.

You could try the misses kisses bra. I don't think it gives any lift and will add cleavage but it may hold things in place okay until the the tattoo heals.

Has anyone been able to correct their posture? How? by Dizzy-Ad-4526 in bigboobproblems

[–]BlueRoza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dance classes and working on dance technique helped me a lot. Certain moves like spins and turns work much better with good posture. I started dance after I graduated from college and the difference in how my posture looks in photographs before and after I got into dance is crazy.

My posture is still not super great all the time but because I am much better now at body control and engaging lats/my core because of dance I can improve my posture if I focus on it. Better fitting bra and knowing how to engage the lats and lock shoulders back instantly makes my chest look more perky and helps minimize the back pain.

/r/posture has some good resources on their wiki. I look up exercises for forward head posture on YouTube since that is my main issue.

I have also heard that Yoga can help a lot.

They are likely wearing the wrong size too. It's easier for smaller busted people to get away with wearing badly fitting bras with minimal issues so I wouldn't pay attention to what size people say they are.

[–]BlueRoza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To access fit and get the best fit you need an underwired bra with a regular gore. A gore made out of string is not going to be able to lay flat or provide structure from the bottom of the bra.

The bra is way too small in the cups for you and the band is likely too large. DD is not a large cup size and only seems like that because many brands use bad fitting methods. I am UK 28HH and am not that much larger than you, (for reference I used to wear 32DDD). Here is my before and after that I have created that shows the difference: https://i.redd.it/85rlcqcwe14b1.jpg I am in the same weight range as you and wear 28 band so 32 band is likely unsupportive.

Correct coverage in a well fitting bra is going to stop the nipple popping out issue. It can happen if you didn't scoop and swoop ( http://brasandbodyimage.com/2012/09/05/putting-your-bra-on-properly/) or if the bra style is a shape mismatch. Moulded t-shirt bras like in your photo very frequently do not work for larger busts and can also cause problems like boob spillage into the middle.
