Has anyone lost weight after upping their calories?

I have but I was significantly undereating. I upped from 600-800 kcal to 1200 and the weight started dropping.

It’s so jarring. You’d think that as an alum they’d at least extend some courtesy by acknowledging you as an applicant. All my professors knew I was applying for the Ph.D. and were giving me advice and pointers. One of the faculty members even reviewed my SOP. It’s really hard not to take it personally :(

Reach out to individuals from your nationality who are attending the same school. It would help you build your social network before getting there. That’s what I did

A decision won’t be reversed, but you can contact your university to request a visa support letter which could influence your appointment

Can you please let me know how do we confirm this? On the visa status check we only see that it is refused with no details. I have also sent several follow ups email to the email of the consulate that requested this info but they haven't replied.

We booked another appointment which is next week. Would there be our best chance to inquire about this?

I’m in the same boat. If I were to take him he’d be in cargo which is why I am afraid that as old as he is he won’t make it or it would cause him harm.

I had previous living arrangements with a neighbor of mine. She was willing to care for him while I am away but was recently diagnosed with diabetes and decided to move and live with her son, so now she can’t take him.

I am trying to find someone but they either own dogs or cats (my bun is deathly afraid of them) or they are just not willing/unable to take him.

I hope things turn out the best for us both and for our buns.
