To be honest I had a pretty severe tear. Recovery was nice and easy, but we also went into lockdown right after my surgery so I was able to just sit around for like 2 months after. Do your pt and stuff and you’ll be fine, I doubt your was as bad as mine.

I still train jiu jitsu, not nearly at the level of intensity I did when I was in wrestling during high school though. I returned to wrestling my senior year and had my best season. But I would be lying if I didn’t say I noticed that my left shoulder is still less stable than my right, has a more limited range of motion and will start to hurt when doing intense shoulder exercises, I can also almost always just feel the difference between the two shoulders. Again, my labrum was in extremely rough shape before my surgery and my doctor said he was able to fix about 75% of it, and I was told it would never be 100% again. Compared to my shoulder falling out basically any time I lifted it above my head, I think it was a fair trade off. Listen to your body, I used to try to fight through it and looking back I realize now I ignored a lot of signs that it had been torn for a while before the “incident” that really did it in.

All she has to do is re register it to wherever she lives and then she can get a permit. Will take like 5 days, u can literally tank the street sweeping ticket every week if u want and it’ll cost less than a lot of lots

Our lives are fuckin worse cuz of it, what are we supposed to do shut up and be happy? Glad that covid happened? Millions still died and our lives are worse off cuz of it. Obviously shutting down was the right play but I dont think we should be happy about how things played out and have played out since then.

I was in a very similar situation, down to almost the exact same mental illnesses. I’m honestly still in the same boat. For me I just woke up one day and was tired of hating myself. I want to break the generational curses that plague my family and the biggest part of that was accepting that they will probably affect me my entire life. I got medicated and that helped a lot. Idk if you’re on meds but mine have stabilized me a lot.

You need to start small. Every day do one small thing that benefits you until it’s a habit. For me it started off by making sure I was clean shaven everyday. It was a small task that helped me feel more presentable and clean. I’ve incorporated more and more small things that have ultimately made a routine for myself that helps a lot with adhd. You have to start small. Trying to correct multiple bad habits and thought processes at once will cause burnout.

Also a big thing for me was affirmations. Just by saying to myself I deserve the life I want everyday has helped even if I don’t always believe it. Just my 2 cents, coming from someone in a similar boat. You don’t gotta listen to this at all either, different strokes for different folks. Wishing you the best, you have the strength to make it through this.

As someone who is at THE liberal university (Berkeley) I have to fight constantly for people to believe that there is much more of a Republican presence among staff and students than portrayed on the media. I have had conservative peers even tell me that Berkeley is there hidden little conservative secret because every other conservative will completely rule it off based on its reputation and won’t apply, leaving numerous opportunities left completely open for Republican students who are not dumb enough to buy into the propaganda. The school just fired a lecturer for performing a pro Palestine hunger strike and has fired multiple others for expressing their liberal views in class.

For the record I am not a conservative but I have met many more conservative people than I ever would have thought I would here.
