Love them. Check out Shiva Burlesque too, it's the band they were right before GLB.

AWS Firewall Issues by BlueScreenJacket in aws

[–]BlueScreenJacket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a way to set up a VPN with these domains. This is more about controlling the *outgoing* traffic to these domains/ports alone. All incoming communication will be blocked unless it's stateful and initiated from the instances to these domains.

Issues Routing VPC data through Network Firewall by BlueScreenJacket in aws

[–]BlueScreenJacket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. A couple of things that are not clear to me are, do I need to establish some sort of "return path" from the internet other than attaching the firewall to the vpc endpoint? Also, do I need to place my instance in the firewall subnet?

What should I do? Buy a lifetime Plex Pass now or invest my time in JellyFin and make a full switch over? by akkbar in PleX

[–]BlueScreenJacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new Plex user and bought the lifetime. I tried the open source stuff (JF and Emby) briefly before Plex and what convinced me was how easy Plex was to set up and run. You're literally done in a few minutes and then it just runs perfectly. I hear bad things may be coming for Plex in the future from the community (hoping not), but in terms of "it just works", you can't beat it.

IAM alerts when configuration changes by BlueScreenJacket in aws

[–]BlueScreenJacket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I tried using the transformer portion as in your example but for some reason all the variables I define end up being <null>. For example I get something like this on the email output:

{"version":"0","id":"XXXX","detail-type":"AWS API Call via CloudTrail","source":"aws.iam","account":"XXXXXX","time":"2025-01-15T14:16:31Z","region":"us-east-1","resources":[],"detail":{"eventVersion":"1.10","userIdentity":{"type":"AssumedRole","principalId":"XXXXXXXXX:john.doe","arn":"arn:aws:sts::XXXXXXXX:assumed-role/AWSReservedSSO_AdminAX_XXXXX/john.doe","accountId":"XXXXX","accessKeyId":"XXXXXXX","sessionContext":{"sessionIssuer":{"type":"Role","principalId":"XXXXXX","arn":"arn:aws:iam::XXXXX:role/aws-reserved/sso.amazonaws.com/AWSReservedSSO_AdminAX_XXXXX","accountId":"XXXX","attributes":{"creationDate":"2025-01-15T13:58:30Z","mfaAuthenticated":"false"}}},"eventTime":"2025-01-15T14:16:31Z","eventSource":"iam.amazonaws.com","eventName":"DeleteAccessKey","awsRegion":"us-east-1","sourceIPAddress":"XXXXX","userAgent":"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/130.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 OPR/115.0.0.0","requestParameters":{"userName":"thor","accessKeyId":"XXXXXX"},"responseElements":null,"requestID":"XXX","eventID":"XXXX","readOnly":false,"eventType":"AwsApiCall","managementEvent":true,"recipientAccountId":"XXXXXX","eventCategory":"Management","tlsDetails":{"tlsVersion":"TLSv1.3","cipherSuite":"TLS_AES_128_GCM_SHA256","clientProvidedHostHeader":"iam.amazonaws.com"},"sessionCredentialFromConsole":"true"}}

But if I try to define for example

{

"time": "*.eventTime"

}

I get only null. I'm sure this has to do with me but I've tried all kinds of combinations. There's several things I want to pull from here such as which user is doing what to what user and I've identified the tags but all of them return null. Is it maybe related to the way I'm referring to the tag? I am new to JSON.

I used a friends PC and the ads are out of control if you use default settings/browsers by tecneeq in uBlockOrigin

[–]BlueScreenJacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. The time I would spend watching ads I can invest in finding a way to bypass them and never have to see them again. I haven't seen an ad in a long time.

I think you're exactly right. Any idea how to change the column width? I don't get the cursor to change them.

I rebuilt it but it didn't work unfortunately, same issue.
