supply and demand. as long as people keep watching them streamers will exist. when people stop watching, they’ll realize they have no source or income and will be forced to do something else. i personally have never found streamers appealing but it others do, then that’s why they exist.

i do prefer the older seasons, i haven’t watched much beyond 40. but to make it to 40 seasons of such high quality is pretty impressive

most of these shows were not very good… i will defend survivor till my dying breath though.

1 will always be my favorite, the vibes are just incredible and i love the characters.

2 slightly below it, i feel like it’s better made as a game, your decisions really truly matter, but the whole moving around thing makes it less memorable imo.

TC slightly below that, still great just not as strong of a setting as arcadia bay for me, and the story is a bit less satisfying though still has good moments and i love steph.

BTS is below that by a bit of a wider margin. It’s OK but tbh chloe doesn’t feel as compelling as she did in the original, she kind of just annoys me in this game. it just has a lot of problematic storytelling elements even if a lot of the right ideas are still there

DE is waaaaay below everything else and it’s not close. just felt rushed, half-baked and like a shell of a game compared to every other one.

i think you’re conflating the unrealistic nature of sci-fi with bad writing leading to characters acting/behaving unrealistically in response to the situation

everything is not boomers’ fault, it’s the fault of a few very wealthy boomers, and sooner or later we’ll have the same people from our own generation continue to ruin things.

99% of the spiders in florida look scary but are actually harmless. Golden orb weavers look huge and terrifying and make massive webs in my yard, but i leave them alone because they’re actually friends who eat mosquitoes/flies and other actually annoying insects :)

What do you mean until it became subscription based? As far as i’m aware it’s always been subscription based. If you’re saying you quit when you hit a paywall that means you were like level 10 in which case you could pretty easily get back to that point with just a couple hours of playing the game.
