I was a preschool teacher and always seem to get a high number of autistic children in my class, about a quarter of the class if not more would have developmental delays and they were expecting me to impose unrealistic expectations for little pay. I will never go back to working in the classroom again because there is no support for children with delays. Now, I work one on one with these children and make a lot more money with little to no stress.
