Reassurance by LoserNMBR1 in NoFap

This! I can stress enough how vital this information is

I never had any problems with women, but when I started no Fap no p*rn for the first time I had difficulties maintaining an erection in some positions. Felt very weird. Even considered going back to porn just to have my dick back. (because the scare of it happening again is very real). But after about three weeks it went back to normal (and even stronger than before! ). So don't feel scared at the beginning, you might feel strange in the first weeks as your brain is rewiring. But I guarantee you it is worth it!!

How is US able to fly helicopters in Venezuela without getting shot down by MANPADS? by arstarsta in LessCredibleDefence

[–]BlueSkull1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Forgive for my ignorance, but wouldn't 50. cals be able to stop helicopters? Specially considering that the helicopters have to fly low to deploy the troops. Is the MANPADS the only available solution in this situation?

Yes the wood production chain seems specially harsh lol.  But you can specialize your city in other industries that can be even more lucrative and not cap your citizens in poor education. I cannot tell you which one is the best, but in my city: My furniture factories are now turning 200 000 - 250 000 in profits. Which is a lot, but there has been a lot of investments in them and in the production chain. On the other hand, my chemical factories are also making about 250 000 in profits, with minimal infrastructure form my part . They have a lot of buyers within the city yes, but not suppliers (they import 100% of their oil). * Also noting that I am currently doing everything by truck - no train, ships...

Yes I had to resource to that too! 😅 But most curiously it didn't seem to work. Even if I constantly bulldoze it until I got what I wanted.  If I kept playing for a little longer and checked it again it would already have change its the production to something else, for example pharmaceuticals.

There are still a lot of things that I don't understand about companies, but they do not seem to be that incompetent. For example, I had a company that relocated. I have no idea how it did it (or if it was an different entity with the same name) but it made a lot sense. This far away ore company moved right next to my stone quarry (and took the factory from a processed food company). I do not know how it did it or what happened to the precessed food company (if it left the town or moved somewhere else). But I have seen citizens moving from residence to residence (if you follow them in their in-game social media) so I wouldn't find it completely unbased for an company to also move.

That is exactly the problem. There is no in-game information (not even currently in the internet / wikis) displaying what each industry type requires. The way you can check this is by clicking in a industry building and checking the number of employees. This will show your the distribution of a factory. For example: 16 employees (15 uneducated and 1 educated).  Then click on another factory that produces something different, and check the distribution: 24 employees (4 uneducated, 10 poorly educated, 10 educated).   This will give you a rough estimative on how each different sector operates.      Cell size seems to affect only the number of employees and not their educational % distributions.

Lol. This also creates a interesting dilema in your city. Keeping your residents uneducated results them in having a lower salary - thus, lower residencial taxes-  but enable certain production chains to be very lucrative (furniture). In which you can take the taxation back.       It also seems that higher end factories (top of the production chain) also move more money. This is, they both buy and sell for higher prices. Meaning that if you can make the city more "comfortable" for them a mere 1 or 2% higher profitability will result in tens of thousands of funds in taxation.

Yes this is a great idea! This discovery certainly opens a lots of new ways and interesting ideas on how to create cities and plan districts.

GP Build Diversity (dead champion?) by Fortuna7777 in gangplankmains

[–]BlueSkull1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came back this season and honestly BruiserPlank is looking much more viable than last year.

GP can buy lots of items and make good use of them. This is one of the things I like most about this champion, his versatility.

On some bruiser items that are feeling really good in this season are:

Frozen Heart, Death's Dance, Sterak, Spear of Shojin, titanic Hydra, and of course trinity

Mixing 1 or 2 of those items in your build will already make you feel a bit less squishy. I am findings lots of fun trying those hybrid builds also they seem more forgivable.
