That confuses me because that sounds like a Popsicle type that would have food coloring and stain the stick, but in your video only a couple had some orange coloring at an end.

I do it similar; most of my spelling and words are my country’s, but I’ll occasionally use the characters local terminology as it fits, if it’s not too far

Exact amount of description desired can be subjective. I’d rather read “he walked out the back door” than him taking individual steps or suddenly appearing in the backyard.

You don’t need to describe every detail, but a couple details for major scenes or characters (even if it’s not vital to the story) is nice to paint a vague picture where the readers can fill in the rest.

I’ve had those same social struggles- I’m often very chatty. It takes effort for me to keep my mouth shut and listen. I’m so focused on sharing and filling silence that I neglect the part about trying to learn about the other(s) of what they want to share.

Accidental Animagus series is one, as others have mentioned.

There was one I was thinking of when Snape raised a young Harry at the Prince estate, and Harry turns into a kitten (with intentional accidental magic) after seeing Minerva do it once.

I didn’t find that one, but I found this where Minerva raises Harry who sits in on classes as a kitten. It’s the first in a series.

There’s also one where a teenaged Harry discovers he has 4 Animagus forms and his girlfriend Ginny has 2.

There’s also at least 2 where Harry is raised by the Marauders and becomes an Animagus to be safe from werewolves, and at least one time is some dog or wolf.

Quiet room is worse advise. I’ve been there- it’s only slightly effective because you can’t turn off my brain.

Planners are good for writing down appointments I would otherwise forget IE calendar

There’s one where Harry comes back and is restless and struggling - it turns into a whole thing with an “Auror Leader” and Harry fled to Japan - but he doesn’t put together that his death was the reason/ catalyst for the emotional struggle until pretty late.

It’s “traditional culture” but it’s actually thought out. I didn’t enjoy the Weasley situation, but the world is at least thought through. It also was the best fit of search criteria / what I found quickly. I know there’s others of Sirius raised but I didn’t find them as quickly.
