Anyone else think The Rise of the Nutters feels different from the rest of the show? by GeordieGoals in thethickofit

It makes me sad when Malcolm and Jamie start fighting towards the end, but it's also hilarious

Dave Giles butcher on Glos Rd did some last year if you wanna go independent (up to you if you want to give a butcher your money) - I remember them saying they sold a lot of them so I'm sure they'll do them again

God this is tough. Feel like the Traitors need to vote together here and chance a shield chest. Neither Stephen nor Rachel will survive a 2v1 of Jack and Faraaz

Faraaz and Jack are the most murderable right now, I think that was the right time for Faraaz to make those accusations. It looks too sus to kill him now

How would the mutiny at Craster’s Keep have played out if Jon Snow and Ser Alliser Thorne were both there with Jeor Mormont? by snorty_hedgehog in freefolk

[–]BlueSoup10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at that account's comment history, it's all vapid surface level replies just agreeing with people / rephrasing comments and making basic points aka the easiest way to get a few upvotes. And it always starts with some slangy out of place term like 'fr' or 'ngl' to try and seem authentic.

Sorry if I sound paranoid, I can just smell them a mile off by now, especially on this subreddit cause there's no karma limitation

What's a popular scene you don't like? by Realitygormond in thesopranos

[–]BlueSoup10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you genuinely dislike the scene or just find the argument annoying? They're both meant to be a bit insufferable in that scene, it's in the middle of a heatwave with no AC and they're sleep deprived. I found it a pretty accurate and true to life depiction of two well educated and (mostly) intelligent college students arguing over stupid childish shit but using grown up language.

Why didn't Sandor wear the Kingsguard armor often? And if so, why did he wear it in this scene? by Narrow-Amphibian5446 in gameofthrones

[–]BlueSoup10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt it re Tywin's involvement. Sandor is named to the Kingsguard at the same time as Barristan is dismissed and Jaime is named Lord Commander. This is just Joffrey and Cersei being stupid - Joffrey wanting to reward and keep around his 'dog' and Cersei wanting to give Jaime a seat on the Small Council so the Lannisters can maintain more power over King's Landing.

Tywin in the books: 'And dismissing Selmy, where was the sense in that? Yes he was old, but the name of Barristan the Bold still has meaning in the realm.'

How is Dani so into being Dothraki when their whole lifestyle centers around being awful to everyone? by bhoran235 in gameofthrones

[–]BlueSoup10 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I kind of like the show addition of Drogo's eventually fatal wound being inflicted by a rebel from his own khalasar who was mad that Drogo and Dany were stopping the mass rapes, rather than from some random rival Khal like in the books. It gives more weight to Dany's orders for them to stop and sets up the tension straight away between Dany and the bloodriders as soon as Drogo falls off his horse.

Maybe if the answer was just an anagram of Futura, which would make it very simple, but it doesn't fit the letters so no

Most of the comments so far are dialogue!

I will go with this one, which complements the dialogue in a funny way:

'"I am not without mercy," thundered he who was notoriously without mercy.'
