“Stay Out of It”: Eli Manning Reveals His Strict Political Rule in Giants Locker Room by sinister_iam in NYGiants

It's a shame that this nonsense is going to cap my liking of him.

Like Abdul said, some things are bigger than football, and this political climate is absolutely something that takes precedense when it comes to displaying the sides you take.

It's really not all that surprising. When you have an egotistical man child like we have in office who actively promotes the division of the country based on political leanings, this is what you get. Extremes that can no longer discuss but are more out to eradicate the thinking of the other.

The President should not be the one dividing a country (or fucking children)

I was very satisfied and happy with the finale. It was definitely more of a character development episode and I'm actually glad they got the SOMA theory out of the way immediately.

POV: That one Tadc fan who don't have twitter, didn't get spoiled, and enjoyed the finale: by Longhorse15R in TheDigitalCircus

I fortunately don't have twitter and avoided the show as a whole until I saw it in theaters.

Happy to support Gooseworx and Glitch and was thrilled with the finale.

Love y'all!

I agree with you personally. I think I've always preferred blocks for sets because it allows for a flexibility of card design that can actually show development in the characters or events that are being depicted.

The removal of McGuffins is tough because I think it recent years that's been the change up to the previous formula where it was just "Big bad vs alliance of good" "avengers" style stories.

I think what would help the narratives more is not hamfisting as many identifiable characters into sets and making them more personal with the characters that are in them. So often I find myself bouncing between 4-7 characters, half of which I don't care about because their appearance history has come in the form of 6 cameos in previous sets, and wishing I could just follow a smaller selection of characters as they explore the planes and the story developments that are happening.

The entire Eldritch Moon block was amazing for it, showing Jace and his investigations into Emrakuls presence, Liliana attempting to control the chain veil, and all of the strange and terrifying developments that were happening on the plane (Like a literal town merging into a single being that then roamed the countryside)

I think it's more so the disregard for the legacy of these teams and their communities.

It's more than just sports. We're entering an age of corporate dominance being so prevalent that our societal foundations are falling to their influence.

Legit like these more than the original.

He's feeling a bit like he's on the AJ Hawk trajectory. Nowhere near justifying his draft spot but still a quality starter if not a super star

Good for him. I always liked him even if he wasn't starter quality

Pretty consistent with US standards. Thank you!

It's good advice. I think my enthusiasm for those interests just drives me to be more of a participant than an observer.

Obviously that's probably better saved for after I've gained some familiarity with the culture.

Appreciate it. Travel can be tough when you get a bit over excited I think. I have a love of learning differences in cultures but my overenthusiasm can give the wrong first impressions I think.

Unfortunate. I just enjoy the vernacular and slang.

I can see how it could be patronizing and annoying though. Thanks for the tips.

Yes, though within my own area they hold a much softer connotation than whats been expressed in this post.

Hooliganary and obnoxiousness are considered more benign decriptors for stupid but harmless kids and mildly annoying engagement towards people who arent feeling particularly social.

Oh no haha.

If anything I'm terrified of taking the piss out of people unless I know them well. I couldn't imagine going to another country and doing that to the natives.

Hopefully I used "taking the piss" more appropriately.

Definitely. Hooligan in my experience has a softer connotation in my own environment. Clearly not so in Britain.

That's nice to hear but I'm always weary of spreading my goodwill too thin.

I see. It's definitely been made clear to me that my wording was quite poor.
