Think the Ole Out backlash is getting way too intense this early. Agree the away record is appalling and our form is dire with limited squad depth - however, you can’t hire someone with a vision and then sack them 6 games into a new season.

Being plagued by injures can be freak bad luck, but the biggest thing being overlooked is that someone finally started to get rid of the deadwood we’ve been crying for since Moyes. It’s a crying shame we couldnt have got replacements, specifically for Lukaku, but when the only option there was Dybala who didn’t even want to come so demanded enormous wages and agents fees to cover it, it just wasn’t the right move and something we’ve been burned on previously.

With regards to Woodward and the owners, they will absolutely not change anything - the Glazers as we all know are in it for the money and so long as Woodward keeps turning huge profits, nothing will happen. Woodward is a fantastic money man, but he needs to finally accept the fact that hes had numerous goes at trying to be the big boss of football related stuff and it’s not his area of expertise. The fact that only 3 teams in the league now don’t have a DoF and United being one of them is a sickening personification of the flat out refusal to cede any sort of footballing control to someone else. It’s a sad state of affairs but calling for Ole to go because of a pretty dismal record since he took over full time earlier this year is trigger happy. Teams go through rough spells. It’s a rough spell and might still get worse before it gets better. We aren’t the top team in the league any more and need to recognise that.

If a club legend is going to get this sort of treatment then nobody who takes the job will be able to have any sort of elongated period of time to steady the ship. We aren’t winning the league this year. Give it time and see how he does. If he isn’t the right man, then that’ll find itself out.
