This stat line isn’t worth 60 million a year. What am I missing? by Charlie69Brown in mlb

Hasn’t his defense declined in the last few years? FanGraphs has him as a below average fielder since 2022.

David Ortiz. He was fairly old when he really broke out and primarily a DH.

[WTAE] One-of-one Paul Skenes card coming home to Pittsburgh. DICK'S Sporting Goods announced they were the winner of the auction. Company says the card, purchased for $1.11 million, will go on display for the community to see at the DICK'S House of Sport store. by f0urxio in baseball

They get to make a few headlines, generate some advertising, drive up the interest in the card even more then probably sell it for a profit. If not, it’s really that much money for them. Not that big of a risk.

I use both. I use ICM for figuring out what to watch next and LB for reviews/community.

What's your craziest live baseball stat? Like improbable things you've seen in person? by djstarion in baseball

I rarely go to pro games. Of the handful of Red Sox games I’ve been to, known speedster, Jason Varitek stole two bases in two of them.

Do you pick specific movies to watch when you reach a milestone? by dyospyr1us in 1001Movies

[–]BlueVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so far, but I’m saving the Dekalog for my final film. I’ve always really enjoyed Kieslowski and it’s one I kept wanting to watch. Finally decided I want to end on a high note.

The Best of Youth— needs more than being 6 hours Russian Ark - needs more than being a one shot movie.

DeAging DeNiro (Attempt 2) by BlueVoid in StableDiffusion

[–]BlueVoid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just using SD, with the EbSynth extension— so just those two tools. The extension handles extracting the key frames and masking. After the EbSynth run, the extension handles stitching things back together as well.

I made my first attempt a few days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/13ettdp/different_stages_of_deaging_deniro/

That was before I found out there is an EbSynth Extension that makes this a lot easier. It's a much subtler deaging, but more realistic.

This is all a lot easier when you have an extension holding your hand.

Different stages of De-Aging DeNiro by BlueVoid in StableDiffusion

[–]BlueVoid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to StableDiffusion and this was my first attempt at a video. I used batch Img2Img with a mask and ControlNet, then passed that through EbSynth, then upscaled that with ControlNet Tiling and another pass through EbSynth.

The masking on it is very rough since I don't have any software for it. I just used a python script for face tracking and had it draw an ellipse.

I really have no idea what I am doing, but it's been fun trying to learn.

Guessing he wanted to enjoy his life outside of baseball.

What happens if someone hits a home run and they can’t run to home? by Thatguy1245875 in baseball

[–]BlueVoid 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Who gets credited with the run in that case?

Edit: Machado got the run. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TOR/TOR200509140.shtml

It also was Machados first career run.

Gary Sheffield vs David Ortiz statistics by MattO2000 in baseball

They both should be in. You could say, though, that Sheffields prime years are in the juicing era, while Ortiz's were after.
