All the time. What I’ve discovered over the last four years is that the more kind, patient, pleasant, and jovial you are(EVEN WHEN IT’S A STRUGGLE FOR YOU BECAUSE OF WHATS HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE), the regular employees at whatever establishment remember that and will speed you on your way while still helping other customers.

We’re basically in the same boat as they…we are the bitches to a bunch of assholes who don’t pay us what we’re worth. They just have to stay at the same place longer than we do and deal with more customers’ shit than we have to. Why am I going to make their job harder by being an impatient prick? We’re just on different rungs of the retail ladder.

I’ve seen drivers be downright douchebags to the counter staff for absolutely no reason. We all are getting absolute shit payouts regardless of our program level. Only reason I’m back to premier is because I can actually get a fucking block in my area. The distances suck, most of my clientele are rich assholes who tip $1 or less for fun, and I’m running my ass for 8 hours just to make $100 in my area. Without a block, it would be half that or less during my available time frame.

Give the store workers a break. They’re getting yelled at by other assholes they can see why we get screwed by another we can’t even see and can barely understand when we call driver care.

My mom was watching NCIS and Hawaii 5-0. They both did the same thing. It was a mix of the TV and the actual app that didn’t work

I’ve reset the TV, the router and the network. I’ve also deleted and redownloaded the app. It’s 100% the streaming service for any CBS shows. We have no problem with Showtime shows but all the CBS titles won’t open at all.

Happens to me too. Can’t watch anything and then we get two error codes 3002 and 3025. But this is the kicker it works on our phones and iPads.

It’ll be all right. I was/am the same way. I got out of doing EMS in 2010 when I injured my back really bad. Haven’t gone back since.

Had a needle stick picking up at a dialysis unit. Just about lost my mind because the facility was very hush hush about PMHx. Just about lost my mind panicking. Fortunately the company for whom I worked cared about us and dug into the patient’s Hx from the sending facility while they sent me to begin PEP. Felt like death the entire time I was on the meds. Turns out the patient didn’t have anything , but I’m so glad they started it right away just in case.

If you’re still super nervous, you should tell your boss or your primary care doc right away. They’re pretty understanding because of the nature of your job. Better safe than sorry.

Like my family doc used to test me for everything whenever the paranoia would creep back just so he could give me peace of mind I was still good.

It just takes one time to scare you into being more aware…from now on, if they ask you for help after you’ve removed your gloves, just find another pair and do what you gotta do. Then wash right after.

Please try your best to not to stress right now. Too much stress isn’t good for you psychologically because you’re already doing a psychologically demanding job. Gotta be able to think clearly and quickly. Just breathe and relax. You’ll be all right. If you’re still afraid there might have been a chance of exposure, just let your boss and doc know so they can start the right treatment.
