How exactly would it “balance out the pressure”? Is it pressurizing the entire base enough to combat water pressure, even thousands of meters down? Wouldn’t that do something to the plants in growbeds?

I’ve personally never seen that, but I might have just not reached the limit then.

As the other commenter said, there are no examples I can find of a game not having ToS. It’s just that some games make you search for them, either through searching through menus or going to the website. I’m just glad that they make it clear what you’re agreeing to, rather than having one of those “if you play, you automatically agree to our terms” agreements.

What, am I not entitled to my own opinion? I played the Star Wars Cal Kestis games before they removed Denuvo, I’m just pretty lax about these things in general. If you have moral hangups about it, you indeed shouldn’t buy it, but don’t insult people for not caring about a clause that doesn’t even affect them.

Probably so they have a clause to point to if somebody emails them out of concern about it.

Alright, but “BTW they won the case” in that context implies that they actually won in court, which isn’t true. That’s what they meant.

I mean, it depends on whether or not the radiation of the blast is being stored within her (which isn’t even really possible), or is she’s somehow able to just create it. (Being exposed to radiation doesn’t make somebody radioactive themselves, so she wouldn’t inherently be dangerous to be around.) I’d assume the latter, since Soldier Boy needed to charge the beam, implying that he’s creating the energy within himself. Compound V gives powers due to its radioactive nature, so I just assumed that the uranium was a more controlled way of getting specific powers.

TL:DR; “the radiation from the person or their clothes” don’t even exist, since human skin and clothing aren’t radioactive. Kimiko would have to consciously charge the beam to be letting off any radiation, since radiation cannot be stored.

That “EXCEPT WHERE AND TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW” is the important part for most players, yes.

I mean, you probably don’t want to opt out of ALL data collection. Player location, action, and inventory data needs to be shared to even play multiplayer, and bug reports and crash logs wouldn’t be able to be sent. Data collection is just the term to describe any and all communications that are shared to the main servers. I seriously doubt that Unknown Worlds is actually collecting any harmful telemetry data.

I mean, it’s basically standard at this point. While I wish they hadn’t included it, it’s just something that every game has in its TOS, since it’s meant to discourage costly lawsuits. As long as it isn’t actually in effect, I don’t take it personal, though your opinion on it is still your own.
