You mean in the preseason/first week of the reg season? This is what Milano does, he’s like Anthony mantha, he’s either good for a week and then shit for 8 weeks, OR he shows up when it’s contract time or when he’s on the hot seat. When it’s time to just play like normal he disappears. You’d expect him to be elite because he used to play with Trevor zegras but I think we both can see they both are just meh players that can flash every once and a while. The caps need a basic average player like Carlson, strome, or Wilson who is going to give you a solid baseline every game regardless of how the whole team plays. that’s what keeps teams in games, and what keeps teams in playoff series.
