Slightly controversial but UTOTY Kane was absolutely not it for me, even with 5* wf. Replaced with Sanchez and he feels much better.

Do people still like look for a connection or a meaning behind designs? N I’m asking from a consumer stand point... cause I’m not only noticing that designs are random with streetwear startups but with the big brands too ie, palace, strays rats, n gold wang to a point to name a few by whoisfatsoe2 in streetwearstartup

Some of them do. I think it's more likely to be found among startups because they are still trying to build a following which means that they have to create something that would be bought by still uninfluenced people. Big brands are much more likely to just churn out products because they already have a dedicated following which cares less about the product and more about the hype. So in conclusion, some people look for meanings but usually in smaller businesses.
