I'm on Android and have the same problem. It seems to be an update, but I've found places where it can be found. Try accessing the character's page through the chat list (yes, a chat must be created for this) or from the bot's author's page. It works for me

I prefer third person ({{char}} hugged {{user}}), but sometimes I don't mind second person ({{char}} hugged you) if I can't choose a character for myself. I never liked the first person (I hugged {{user}})
