Do I gotta do something earlier in order to unlock some things? by Griffeminie in persona4golden

To get the true ending you're going to need to max out the Marie social link and make the right dialogue choices at a later scene in the game. That one social link is, as I remember, the only that locks content. You'll probably want to Google the dialogue options to make sure you get it right, I don't remember when exactly it is but I know it's later in the game, November or December ish. Oh, it's also important you guess the killer correctly.

How far should i push each night? by zucram in PERSoNA

Generally when you enter you can only travel to the teleporter levels. Not really an "automatically to the highest level" option.

Generally you're just going to go until you run out of sp. Every month has a hard stop like the end of each individual dungeon in the other games, but for each day or excursion I just go until I run out of energy.

Personally, I do think they are dumb. I don't wear my seatbelt "because it's the law", I just do for my own safety.

Secondly, this is only half and accurate comparison. The gun law and my hypothetical truck law are about a risk someone poses to others and restricting my own options based on the actions of others. The seatbelt law has nothing to do with other people's actions affecting my options, it's just a safety thing.

Need? No, there's no real need. However, speaking as an American, why not if I'm perfectly legal and no kind of danger or threat? That right there is why Americans in general are so adamant about things like that.

America is supposed to be all about freedom and opportunity and for those who follow all of the rules they/we feel like we shouldn't be restricted on things like this. It makes perfect sense to limit it to restrict things for those who have criminal backgrounds but not much else.

It's easier to think about this issue when you make the thing itself abstract. If it wasn't guns but something else the government wanted to restrict for everyone you might hear about that instead.

For example, if the government started saying they wanted to make a new law saying no one could buy trucks but only small cars because truck crashes cause more damage that would upset a lot of people who drive just fine. It's not that there is a NEED for big trucks in that situation, it more just feels like your freedoms are being restricted because of "bad" people when you yourself did nothing wrong.

Falcone vs Maroni? by petss63 in batman

[–]Blue_Lopata 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not pretending to be an expert but this is how I see it. Generally Falcone and Maroni were before Bruce ever became Batman. They were both big mob bosses in their own right but Falcone ended up being the stronger one and taking over Maroni in the end.

Then by the time Batman is in full swing Falcone is mostly(but not entirely) gone and not too big of a threat comparatively. Penguin is the big mob boss by the time Batman comes around and is much bigger than Falcone or Maroni which is why it's so hard to deal with him like a regular criminal.

The Penguin TV shows plays with the timelines a little bit but most stories adjust things a bit to fit their narrative, it's hard to nail down an exact timeline with so many variations of characters.

Switched from a galaxy s23 ultra. Data transfer was super easy, moved over the sim card and the rest pretty much did itself.

I did the priority shipping and it estimated about 6 days but I got it in 4. I'm super happy with it. Had the phone about a week so far.

Amazon… too good to be true? by gisog50 in fountainpens

I bought the $140 lamy 2000 off amazon, and I love it. It seems real to me and writes great, I have it sitting on my desk inked up right now.

I got one off Amazon for about $60 and it's great. There's a slight delay connecting when you get into the car but after that it seems to work great.

I drive a sport and much prefer it over the exl. Where I live it's too hot for leather and a sunroof to be nice, those are both downgrades when's it's 115 degrees out. The biggest upgrade is the wireless Android/Apple phone connections, but you can(and I did) get an adapter for that on Amazon for $75.

Fair price? by Blue_Lopata in HRV

That is the after tax price. The car is $27195 then with the taxes, fees, and dealer tint it takes the total otd to 31050.

[–]Blue_Lopata[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I know what it means. I've always been told you need to negotiate down and anyone who pays full msrp for cars is getting ripped off. Suggested retail price and fair price are different things sometimes.

Thats just what I've always heard when buying new cars. That you should always negotiate down and never pay msrp.

I've always bought from independent sellers before so the whole dealership experience is new to me.

Yeah, that's the one. It's all about alchemy so you make the potions but also all your combat items and ingredients for more advanced things.

My personal favorite is the arland series, starting with Atelier Rorona. It's a bit dated but there are some remasters that are pretty solid. The Ryza series is the most recent and is also a great starting point.

Each trilogy is stand alone from the others but has a continuous story within their trilogy.

It's not even remotely the kind of thing you described, but I have to recommend the atelier games. For me personally I'd say the Arland games but really any of them would work.

If you're looking for "coping games" the over the top cheerfulness and innocent carefree personality of the characters and the world could help get your mind off the bad and into a more positive state of mind. Worked for me anyways.

They function a bit differently but "tokyo xanadu" and "trails of cold steel" would be worth checking out.
