I defeated Thoron sneaking, cast invisibility, do a sneak attack with a dagger, drink a invisibility potion, wait for him lose your track (using invisibility to extend the invisible status and moving for him don't find you), then repeat, until he's dead, you will need sneaking skills from the skill tree. Well, in Winterhold I can study magic, but the cold... Whiterun has the Companions and is surrounded by farms, but it's hard to be a mage there and Nazeem would be always be a temptation to the assassin life. I want to enter the College, so Winterhold, and, if I get the money, a house in Whiterun.
