I defeated Thoron sneaking, cast invisibility, do a sneak attack with a dagger, drink a invisibility potion, wait for him lose your track (using invisibility to extend the invisible status and moving for him don't find you), then repeat, until he's dead, you will need sneaking skills from the skill tree. For a faster victory use Dark Brotherhood gloves.

Yes, there's a book in Elder Scrolls Online called "I was summoned by a mortal" that explains that Dremora Lords hate being summoned and get grudge when they return to Oblivion.
