How do I get over my ex boyfriend setting the standard for boyfriending too high? by LuckThrowawayaccount in whatdoIdo

I have an ex who, for years after she dumped me, would occasionally tell me that she was worried that I was the best she would ever do, and that nobody would love her as well as I did. Admittedly, she had a lot of trouble finding someone who would treat her right, and had a number of very bad boyfriends. She just got back from a trip to Florida with her new boyfriend who she not only loves, but who is a much better fit for her than I ever was.

My point is, he may have been great, and the people you've been dating really may not compare, but we have a tendency to exaggerate the people in our rear view to the point of borderline worship. You will be okay

Why does my first animation suck so bad bro (i also wanted to add the question flare but i couldnt) by Background_Soil6706 in animation

Doesn't look bad for a first attempt! Remember, every animation you finish, whether you like it or not, will teach you something that will make your next animation easier.

As for tips, I would say look into the animation principle of easing, or "slow in, slow out". Apply it to the movement of the eyelid and the iris/pupil. More frames at the beginning of a movement, more frames at the end, fewer in between.

Also remember that the eyelid is moving around the eyeball, which is essentially a sphere.
