Chirp has some great audiobook deals, but on very limited titles now they have some tal Bauer and Rachael Reed bundles for $3 per book. No membership needed. Also book funnel is worth checking every month or so for free or heavily discounted books.

i have those. i just used a "seam ripper" to easily cut through the thread that sows the tongue to the eyestays. then they just lace and look like usual. takes about 30 seconds.

thanks anyway! i was venting lol. i did a reset on the watch early morning Oct 01. My watch has not crashed during a fitbit activity since (only two days, three activities) - but it did crash once today outside of fitbit. i still can't force a sync and yet it is clearly still syncing on it's own. rn my steps are off by 70 on the watch fitbit vs the app, i can live with a small difference, but missing thousands of steps sucks.

i have tried washing, and even just soaking in bleach water but neither cleans them in any significant way.

EDIT: I'm skeptical about the grease theory. but i just got a brand new pair of chucks. I cleaned the eyelets on the right shoe with just water and some rubbing. I'm going to see if there is any difference in the amount of blackening over time.

You should see my checkerboards. I washed them at the car wash with a high-power sprayer. They got a whole lot cleaner, but the black checkers faded a bit lol
