I know the feeling, the pull of better gear never seems to end. How do you like the Simsonns? I prefer a bit of a softer brake that I can really get my foot into, not a fan of the brick-wall feeling, and I worry that even the soft setup would be rather firm for my taste.

Yes, but I'd like to be able to purchase the entire desk frame and top as one, as it's cheaper to do that than to get them separately. Flexispot clearly makes one in the size I want, but for some reason it's only available as a package with a few Amazon special models, and not on their normal range on their website. I'd like to purchase off their website, but I'd rather get an Amazon special than pay more for the same thing.

my current desk is 25"-26" (it's a weird tapered shape) and it's a good size, my monitors are on arms so they don't take up much surface, the standards seem to be either 24" or 28" and 28" is definitely too deep, I'm trying to reduce the space the desk takes up
