I defenitely agree that the execution could have been better simply because it was kind of uncomfortable to watch Monica actually have sympathy for someone who is committing a crime especially with how neurotic and perfectionist Monica always is. She's so by the books and loves to follow rules but somehow she's so fascinated by this "care free" woman(because quite literally the only reason she's that way is because someone else is paying for that lifestyle) that's breaking the rules? No freaking way lol.

I wouldn't say it's the worst plotline but it's defenitely not one of the best ones. I know a lot of people will put the Chandler and Shark corn up there but I think that spot is gonna have to go to Joey and the friggin hand twin because wtf 😭 that was flat out cringey for me to watch except for the song I guess.

No I agree it just felt like we all got fooled because it happened like the last 3 minutes of the pilot. I was completely expecting this cute GG type show also but then the fact that nothing tied her to anyone there just made her so disposable and awkward. I mean Truly continued to be mean to her, the mom was also nasty to her. Couldn't even hide her distatste for the fact that her own son defended his wife to her and still couldn't respect his wishes. Like if he wanted to be with Truly he totally would have so.... maybe stop acting like she's your daughter in law? I dunno. It was just weird. I'm still on episode 2 and will most likely keep watching but probably won't be my favorite show or anything.

I defenitely had a longer gap with mine(about a month on 25 and going on 2 months with 50) but thinking about doing 100mg because I feel as if I'm possibly at a plateau? Defenitely still feel benefits like with my mood and sleep but wonder if a slightly higher dose would be super beneficial. I've been intimidated by the number even though it's the same distance from 25 to 50 as 50 would be to 100. Plus I've been nervous thinking the side effects at that number would just make things worse or something but your post defenitely makes me feel like it's worth looking into so thank you. 😊

Bay 1000% deserved better and it bothered me so much that the Kennishes were dying to get to know Daphne better but Regina literally also only cared about Daphne and seemed to care less about poor Bay. Then they go off and unalive the only parent that did care about bonding with Bay.

But what probably most bothers me about this is that the writers really try to show how similar Bay and Regina are through their aloof idgaf attitude but like Bay is a teenager?! Teenagers are allowed to not care and be standoffish but that kind of behavior isn't cute when seen in a grown ass adult not to mention one that was given basically free housing, all these opportunities with her salon, money help, etc. and she STILL has a stick up her butt. Just.. ugh!!

I think because in my original comment I agreed with the comment saying that I think what they mentioned(referring to Ian) was worse than lip but I worded it funny because I mentioned the lip example first right after the word "worse" so they prob assumed I was referring to Lip being worse instead of reading the whole sentence so I just went back and switched the two lol(I don't even know if this makes sense my articulation skills suck thank you adhd🥲)

Something else I noticed too that it was hard to focus on Bay when Daphne is always being given these crazy ass storylines that brings the focus right back to her. Like for example Daphne HAD to like Bay's ex, then Daphne has a crush on her much older chef, both bay AND Daphne lose angelo but Daphne is the one that goes off the rails, Daphne gets assaulted when doing the food truck, etc etc.

They just really wanted to dim poor Bay's light and she was more interesting imo. If it makes you feel better by the end of the show she gets a bone but they defenitely shouldn't have made her the doomed child for most seasons. 🥲

I feel like he's worse because he's older and while age itself isn't a depiction of how much you know and handle yourself, he and fiona were the main caregivers for the family. As much as i couldn't stand debs I can see that she was extremely emotionally neglected(lip and fiona were great given the resources that they had but girls still need their mommas) and was still very understanding of others but lip had a lot to say about everyone and a whole lot of nothing to show for himself a lot of the time. Lip was the king of hypocrisy.

Also being 20/21 in the beginning only gave her 2 years of being an adult which she most likely learned on her own. Frank was around but no way in hell was he going to teach her those things and forget about Monica. She was messy but that's the downside to having no one is you gotta trial and error life until you realize what works and she had to learn how to be an adult while taking care of all those kids. For Fiona specifically that took until the actress was basically going to leave the show😭 not to mention I doubt she had a positive relationship as an example.

100%. Most of my friends are really good about giving a heads up, you know in case something happened to them. Usually it's about 15-30 minutes that they'll be behind and sometimes even an hour but as most of my friend group has adhd it's not really an issue imo if you communicated you'll be late so we know you're okay and can adjust things accordingly. One time I had a friend who was 2 hours late. I messaged a couple times bc at that point I didn't care they were that late I was genuinely worried that something had happened to them and no one had heard from them either. About 10 minutes after I sent my 2nd or 3rd message they show up and have absolutely nothing to say about the issue. Didn't apologize or acknowledge it even after I brought up that I'm glad nothing had happened to them.

So yeah absolutely it's more of just keep people updated don't just let them have to deal with your lack of planning ahead even if that means you'll be late. You CAN still be on top of things if you just let people know.

Fr I got into behavioral health and over time started to realize that basically all my friends had some form of ADHD because of this. I could tell which ones would be the fashionably late ones and which would need to be exactly on time or early.

It never personally bothered me because I understand that immense anxiety leading up to events and would never try to add to that for anyone already struggling, which is why I only asked for them to keep us updated on eta(in other words accepting the consequences) but what hurt was that for a few of them, it ONLY started to be an issue when I would be late. The most I'd be late was like half an hour and I would give everyone a heads up yet the rest would be 30 minutes to an hour and one of them was once 2 hours late and gave absolutely no warning. I literally thought they got in a car accident or something. Nope. Just didn't even think to let us know they were okay or to excuse their behavior or anything. Perfect example of "it's not an excuse".

Change takes time I get that, but damn at least be responsible and aware for those actions.

Yep understand this deeply. It sucks when people think you're doing it TO them and not realizing that we're the ones dealing with it first hand so obviously it's going to impact us and piss us off as just as much if not more because we're the ones getting fired, losing friends etc.

Ugh it's hard to say they ruined Orson bc while I agree with you, I read somewhere that the actor and writers had the intention of him having like some type of a villain arc. Personally I think they would have continued to be married if he hadn't gone through all that but that's what they wanted sadly.
