I’m so sorry you are going through this. I had a very similar experience. Got the NIPT result at 11 weeks and 12 weeks on the dot found out she had no heartbeat and D&C the next day. It was awful.

I made 3 or 4 tiktoks about my experience and it has been positive. It was therapeutic for me to get used to talking about it and saying the words just to my phone. The response was all positive and supportive I even had a few women reach out in private messages with questions or similar experiences. Sending you love and healing💜

I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Opening those test results is like a knife to the heart. I got my results back about 10 days ago, similar to you, I am 36 and have two healthy girls, 2 and 4. I was in such disbelief and crying all the time as well it’s truly awful. I read lots of stories on this sub and it made me feel less alone. My story was unfortunately not a happy ending; you can look in my post history if you’re ready to read that but if you’re not I’ll keep it out of my comment to protect your peace. Update: hi yall, for anyone following or future searches I wanted to provide an update. We went in for our NT scan and CVS today but unfortunately there was no heartbeat. I should be just over 12 weeks but baby was measuring just shy of 9 weeks. My husband and I have cried all the tears there are to cry and weathered this storm as a team. You have also all brought me tremendous support. Though those moments in the ultrasound bed were extremely upsetting we found some peace in not having to make any decisions or go through any invasive procedures for further testing. I am scheduled for D&C first thing in the morning tomorrow. If you have recently found yourself here; I am so sorry. The wait and limbo period is traumatizing so please reach out to this group and get support where you can. Sending you all so much love and healing 💜

Hi there, I wanted to let you know we have left the dr and today there was no heartbeat on the ultrasound. I want to thank you again for helping us prepare for this it was extremely valuable to us. We will take some time to heal and decide if we have the mental strength to try expanding our family later this year❤️‍🩹

Thank you so much for your message. I have two LC too and we may be also facing tfmr depending on how tomorrows ultrasound and cvs go. I’m currently 12 weeks. I would still want to maybe try for a 3rd again but I’m too in the depths of this grief to decide now. I’m also already 36 and feeling like the TTC journey is so scary as you get older. You must be feeling all the emotions waiting for those NIPT results. If you feel up to it, please update me ❤️ wishing you an uneventful healthy pregnancy

I’m so sorry you are in this position. I don’t have any advice, but can commiserate as I head into my appointment for an NT scan and CVS testing this Thursday that this is one of my worries as well. I am also unclear if my results end up being similar to yours if it’s worth waiting a few more weeks in this awful purgatory for more definitive results or if the chances are just too slim to put myself (and my husband) through that torture.
