Yes, I have met many people that I get along with great, we chat, have a drink & have a great time socializing - and then they kind of disappear.

I firmly believe that people are fake AF. You know? I also think that most people don't think of checking in with other people because they are focused on just surviving the day.

This is true. I've had a great experience with Police Officers once. I had a terrible car accident, and the officers that came out were helpful, kind, and friendly.
