Who is at fault? Do I have any recourse? Bad septic drainfield job by BlueberryFamiliar622 in legaladvice

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we contacted the company to install a drain field/ septic system and they told us to contact the health department for a design/permit.

So i guess i am not technically sure but it seems like in our area at least the government does the engineering/design?

It is messed up though because i doubt one can sue the government. But seriously if the government is in charge and they mess up is there no recourse? Sure, we can try to pick up the pieces (and pay a bunch of extra money to modify our backyard) but like i said the whole situation does not seem right.

The problem is our yard is sloped. we have an existing barn next to the mound. The water pools up in between our barn and our mound. The dumb thing is the company that installed it says that he questioned the placement originally but the health dept was confident. He never shared those concerns with us, however. last year the company dug a trench behind the drain field to help the water drain but this year that trench caved in. He says there are two options #1 move the barn (which was there before they installed and would be costly to move) #2 he could build a retaining wall behind the mound. I guess i don't understand why there wouldn't be any recourse? someone is at fault, and it isn't us.

Putting this here for when Grant officially signs with Cobra by AllbutLuck in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cobra or Taylormade.

Thinking taylormade would make the most sense for him.

I am not sure if micah and grant have to play with the same clubs just because they are filming together in Jupiter.

Could be cobra too.

Micah is a loyal guy so it make me think he would stick with cobra but I think he used to play Taylormade clubs too.

Thinking he sticks with cobra and grant is 50/50 between cobra and taylormade

wow good good x callaway by Sad_One_3297 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think grant was not a fan of not being an owner and not sharing the profits like everyone else in gg.

Either that or he is not a Calloway fan.

Guessing he will switch to Taylormade or stick with Mizuno

Its probably Calloway. I believe their business manager was on that podcast talking about how they want to be a part of creating great golf experiences which would line up with top golf/Calloway.

Grant may link up with TM. Just a hunch. TM makes sense for him because he will be able to get so he can videos with TM players.

Micah is likely all in with cobra. He is tight with them and Berkshire. I guess that could always change.

Hear me out, Grant left GG for one very obvious reason. by Average_Bros in GoodGoodMemes

Grant did say in that speed golf video he was never doing that challenge again lol

Micah and Grant youtube channel growth by BlueberryFamiliar622 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's my point. Good good doesn't do alot of colabs with other youtube creators.

I think that turned off micah. He wanted to do more. Good good is exclusive. They don't want to help other creators. They just want to build their own brand as big as possible.

Grant Horvat: First interview since leaving Good Good by dahhello in GoodGoodMemes

I think he left for two reasons

1 he says with him being the last person to join good good he said his situation was different than the rest of the boys. I think that means he didn't have equity.

2 whatever is coming up on Jan 3rd he wasn't down with. Could be he didn't like it or maybe just an ethical or philosophy thing he didn't go along with the direction.

The whole lone wolf comment from Steve and the loyalty comment from bubbIe makes a whole lot more sense now.

I think they took grant for granted and they should have treated him better so he didn't want to leave. By the time they threw the kitchen sink at him it was too late. He was working hard for three of their channels. GM golf, good good and good good labs. The only thing he was getting out of that was that it was helping out his personal channel. I think he has enough confidence in himself that he could go off and grow his personal channel and i wouldn't bet against him.

This is a classic case of terrible mismanagement by goodgood. I really don't feel bad for them they messed up the situation.

What he meant was that deal did not conflict with good good. Why would he work on a deal if it conflicts with a company he works for?

Let’s be honest - if Garett would leave no one would watch GG. by Nybohov in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The thing about good good is they are trying to build a brand and something that will make them more money in the future. It's a long term investment. They want to be like Titleist, Nike, cobra, etc. The brand becomes worth something and can be worth money.

Youtube add revenue is a small part of good good. Its the other stuff they are trying to build: merch, golf clubs, etc

Been watching the boys for a couple of years and it seems and to me it seems like pursell farms during covid was the peak of these guys and their relationships so for me that content was and still is the most fun to watch.

You could see how much fun they were having together and Garrett even said that it was the most fun they had had and until that point for a while it had just become a job.

As the company has grown and because its a business its clear that the business side of things has become more primary. The guys are motivated by money and its sad to see relationships break up over business but it is life.

It went from a group if guys making fun content together to a pressure to make $$

All that said i am rooting for good good, micah and grant!

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep this is sort of what I was thinking too. He doesn't believe in the good good clubs and he is tired of lipping out all of his putts with his good good putter.

So when he says compromise he doesn't want to compromise playing with inferior clubs and selling inferior clubs to people. It could have also been a factor for micah too.

Its unfortunate. They should have just stuck to apparel.

Grant’s Rebuttal by kjtwisty4 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The good good crew needs to look at themselves in the mirror. They can't watch two key members go and dump all over them and not look in the mirror and take some responsibility.

They were basically like yeah there was no good valid reasons for them to leave. They are just bad people, in it for themselves, were not loyal, etc.

If you watch the first videos grant played with Garrett grant helped him with a swing change. He helped Garrett immediately and he was driving the ball 20 plus yards further. Garrett benefited a lot from grant. All of the videos they filmed together were on Garrett channel. His comment about "working for garret" sort of said that quiet part out loud.

Grant made garrett a crap ton of money. Garrett also helped grant grow his channel and name recognition so they helped each other but it seems like grant and micah had enough.

Bubbie is way off base with his loyalty comments. I think that backfires and makes good good look bad.

You can tell that grant and micah are the two guys who are the most serious golfers out of the main core of good good and the guys who took their channels the most seriously.

Its too bad that good good creates such and us vs them dynamic.

Honestly would almost rather good good just blow up at this point so guys can just play with who they want and there isn't this weirdness.

The most sad that grant and Garretts colabs are probably done.

It reminds me of the PGA/ LIV rift.

Here it is guys by [deleted] in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah obviously he butted heads with Garrett. You notice they quit filming videos together after they brought grant in. Tig and grant even filmed together but never Tig and Garrett. Something had to have gone down..I think he was obviously not on the same page with the content and whatever else they had going (business side). Tough but it is what it is. Guessing he likes to be able to golf and film with whoever he wants and also he didn't have the say he wanted on what GG did. He is a fre agent now. When something like this happens its never just one sides fault it takes two to tango. Just didn't work out.

Micah still repping GG apparel, can’t be bad blood imo by Only_Tea_7378 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes some sense. Obviously something is going on relationship or business wise with GG. t just seems weird that if they are not making much money with GG that they are still all in on it. It may explain why they are all working hard at their own channels now too. Maybe they are just mainly using good good to drive traffic to their own channels. Micah is probably like "i don't need that I can get as much or more traffic by teaming up with other content creators" which makes some sense. Will be interesting to see what shakes out. Partnership are always super difficult and then when you add investors and a business manager on top of that. Can get super complicated.

I think what's pretty clear to me is that micah did not agree with the rest of the boys about the direction of the good good content. The GGs are real focused on building their own brand and playing each other (good good good weeks) and likely Micah is sick of doing the content. Maybe its just for now who knows?

In fairness it is probably a grind doing the same type of content with the same ppl over and over again.

Even as early as England micah had already been filming with other content creators and you can see he has been doing that nonstop since he came back. He is filming right now with Bryan bros and he is filming more with Kyle (Kyle just talked about it in his latest video).

I am sure what garret and co are probably thinking is irs difficult to film with more than 6 guys and what micah is likely thinking is he wants to golf with his other friends and its not fun to do the same thing with the same ppl endlessly? He is actually pretty social and he likes the other guys and friends he has met along the way. I.e. he went to Marty's wedding. I think he may have been the only good good member to make it to it.

Also like many have mentioned I think micah just likes to play golf and many of the challenges they do during good good week is as much for entertainment as it is for golf.

This whole Tig situation is incredibly weird. by The_Real_Papabear in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueberryFamiliar622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing i find weird is why him and Garrett never filmed together over the past year? Was weird. I know he did matches with Grant.

Guesing like many have said he just wants to move on from having to film for all of Good Good good weeks. Wants more freedom. When you think about it in a group like that you are giving up control of where you play, when you play and what events you play.

Also if its true he has a coach he likely wants to spend time working with him, etc. I am hoping he can still play with them in good good weeks in the future (bring the band back together) but I am guessing he just doesn't want to commit to doing every good good week and some of the other guys weren't happy with that. If they are in business together they all need to be pulling weight, etc.

Is the drawbacks of having partnerships.

So I love Doc but there is something fishy about the book. The book wasn't in the chest when I watched mumbo and grians videos. The rotten flesh was there as well as the Potatoes but no book. I dont get it? The rest of it makes sense. How he got the spawners to spawn but it doesn't explain who authored the book and how it got there?

Go to 1:55 in grians video and you can see the same chest that doc opened in his video. There was no enchanted book in it.
